Wow, I feel a bit erm... dumb now after reading all these posts, giving energy and now asking for this, but it's a very good reason.

My boyfriend and I live on Long Island, and so do my two good friends. Recently, horrible things have happened. My Papa(grandfather) died recently, and it's been tough to get over. Mike(boyfriend) is going away to college soon, and he's worried/stressed. Kathy, one of my friends, was raped and has to deal with the case, as well as therapy. Not to mention, she too is going away to college. And Steve... he's going upstate soon back to college, and we'll miss him.

All summer, we've been planning a trip to Boston. At first, there were a few difficulties, but we got past them. The date has been set from the 12th-13th of August.(This upcoming weekend.) On such horrid notice, our main way of transportation (Mike's car) had it's transmission blow out. Now, it boils down to Mike convincing his mom to let us use her car(the cheapest way out, and Mike's dad is cool with it, but she already said no, but Mike's trying his best to persuade her because he didn't give her the whole story), take the ferry/train which is going to be a hell of a lot of money, or take the Fung Wah Bus.(Haha, I just like saying it.) It's a bus that goes from Chinatown all the way to Boston. It's $30 round trip, but it's very uncomfortable, and we'd have to figure out how to get to China town, as well as to Mike's friend's house in Massachusetts. Yet again, we'd have to take another train.

I hope I don't sound selfish; we just need a break from everything before the summer ends and we're all dispersed. Could you please help us, and send us some energy that we'll get to Boston this weekend in the most affordable, efficient, and all-around best way? I would go any of these ways, I just wanna leave this Island! It feels like the walls of my house are closing in on me. I would be very appreciative.

Thanks for reading.

My dear.. I'll send some energy your way.. I hope things are working out.. I'm sorry to hear about your papa. As for your friend and her rape case... I've been there... 4 years of rape and a full year of a court case.... its hard but be as supportive as you can... I have a feeling your friend is a strong person and she will get threw it... when shes not dealing with in in therapy try to get her out... don't let her withdraw into herself...
