Okay well this is probably way off base as to say that I brought this fish back to life because Goldfish probably usually get sick and float on their sides. Well 2 nights ago my sister came into my brothers room with tears saying that her fish was dying... I looked at it and just knew that I could do something, so I told her to give me the fish and leave the room. AS she did so I took the fish's jar in my hands, by this time I started to chant a rhyme that I just made up as I went along. Damn I wish I could remember all of it but the first lines were

What I have I give to you
To breath in life, to start anew.

And I closed my eyes, I started to feel my hands tingle and I got this strange pressuring yet pleasant sensation in my heart. After I finished the chant I stepped up and thought that the fish may be dieing because of bad water, so I took it out to put it in a cleaner bowl and I dropped it on the floor. I gasped and picked it back up and put it back in the water. It swam to the bottom for a second and then floated back up to the surface. After that little event I took the fish and brought it in my kitchen. I filled up a clean jar and put a small ball of All Spice inside of it. After I was finished I went back into my brother's room and waited for my sis to come back. When she did I told her to take the jar and send all your positive energies into the jar filling the fish with health. She did so and a few minutes later the fish was back to full health. Swimming and everything. So could the healing energies of me and my sister have saved the fish? OR was the fish going to get better anyways. I don't know much about Goldfish, but the last few I had died the same way this fish was going to... Could this have been me? OR a miracle? Or what... I would really love your input.

I don't want to burst your bubble (no pun intended), but gold fish are enourmously sensitive to changes in water. As a matter of fact, simply removing him from "dirty" water, and putting clean water in his bowl, or..simply moving him around through the water, could have gotten more oxygen moving through his gills, and thus, he was saved from death.

Happened to my hubbys' pirahna once. :)

Now I know at least why he is better:) I thought it had something to do with the water... thanks Danus!

I don't know. I mean, if you just put the goldfish in fresh water, you don't know for sure it would have survived without the healing energies. Magic works as part of the thread of life. The mundane and the magical are interwoven, working together. Maybe the healing energies working in conjunction with the clean water saved the fish. Perhaps the fish would not have survived with just the energies either.

But...still...let this be a lesson to your sister. KEEP THE WATER CLEAN! lol.

My pirahna was very upset by this story. LOL>
