A relative will be visiting us for a while. His energy is usually quite negative - he is irritable, critical, sarcastic, and I always feel I'm the culprit whenever something goes wrong in his presence. He's OK with the rest of the family. Naturally, I'll try to be as pleasant as possible, but a little bit of magic will be extremely helpful. I'm considering of placing a protecting spell on myself (I wouldn't like to try tieing his behavior - I've never really done that, and feel unsure of my skills in that area). Would OBSIDIAN be a good stone to make an amulet with? I'd like something that would keep the negative energy from harming me, like a shell from which sharp arrows bounce off.

Well first, I think it's a great idea to make yourself a protection amulet. I believe obsidian is associated with protection so I think that'd work great.

oooh...use snowflake obsidian (the kind where volcanic ashes got trapped in the lava before it cooled and became a stone). for some reason, it seems to work better for me. maybe just because it's so purty.

so you want to know about Dagaz? it is one of my favert runes.
dagaz is one of the runes of transeton, a rune that moves formone exterim to the other. Think of it this way dagaz is loking at a sun rise of sun fall, it is the moment in time, when light and darkness become one. It is the rune of the sapeshifter moving form one sape to the other. it looks like an hour gass on it side round out its anguler shape and it is the symbel of infenatey.

the way i like to get reid of neg whith in me, is to take as cold shower, as you can staned. I close my eyes and as the cold water is flowing over my head I see the water cleaning out my 7 chakers 1 chaker at a time. well that s what I do when iam aroud a neg infulens
