hey guys. My grandpa's going in for surgery today. Quadrupal bi-pass. Other than that, the DR's are surprised at how healthy he is. . .it's just his heart.
I was wondering if anyone could send some good thoughts or energy his way? I'd really, truely appreciate it, and so would my mom (and probably my whole family).
His name's Glenn.
thanks a huge bunch

Basically it means 4 little arteries for the heart are blocked so they create a bypass to avoid the blockage. :)

I'm saying a prayer, lighting candles, and sending as much energy as I can. Keep a stiff upper lip, little sister.

My grandpa just (like 3 days ago, just) got a quadruple bi-pass, so I know how you feel. It's scary, don't have anyone tell you about what they do, it just makes you feel really bad.
Just be glad your new bitch of a grandma doesn't kick out your uncle (who just got out of jail and got off of coke and is trying to rebuild his life) while your grandpa is in the hospital (unable to talk). Gah! I hate that woman!
But my grandpa's kidneys busted on him (they're better now) and he's much better now. So hopefully your grandpa will be okay too. How bad is everything clogged in there? I know my grandpa has 100% blockage in one of his arteries (he has this idea that since he lived through WWII nothing else will kill him and he doesn't have to listen to doctors :ack: ). I hope he gets better. And isn't as stubborn as my grandpa.
