Just wanted to get a feel for this list and say a general howdy. I'm new to the computer but not the craft, so if you never hear from me again it means I can't find this web page twice. I just sort of stumble around the internet. BB

Thanks ya'll seem friendly enough, what's this favorites thing? you must understand I am computer illiterate, I've figured out how to send and receive e-mail. What I know about computers would fit quite comforably on the head of a pin with plenty of room left for writing. I'm going to Barnes & Noble and get one of those dummy books. But let's talk craft stuff that I know about, been doing it since '89, been to lots of festivals, love a road trip, and organized a few festivals. Lots of pagans in St. Louis but hard to meet them. that is ok ~ We all have to start off somewhere ...
You can save the addy to this site in your favorites folder on your internet files ....
Ok when you are on this site look at the top of the page and you should see ...
File
Edit
View
Favorites
Tools
Help
left click on the favorites and then a 2nd tool bar will come up..
it should say " add to favorites " you waan add the main page to this site into there ...
so click on add then it will have you hit ok to add it ~ so then from now on you just go to that menu and clikc on the name to get here and VAW LA you are here ....
Does that help ???/

To save favorites:
at the top of your search engine page (the page you use to search the net with) should be a folder labled 'favorites' or just the word 'favorites' click on that while you are on the Mistic Wicks home page, then click 'add to favorites', then click new, type a name for your folder, click 'OK' and whala...you have MW saved on your computer...just a click away anytime you want to come here!!:D Also to view something saved in favorites just click on the folder and then click on the link provided!
Hope that makes sense!!

Welcome and MM... this place sure grows fast.
BTW, "Favorites" is only valid if you're using Internet Explorer. Netscape calls them "Bookmarks".

Welcome to the porch.
Forget the 'Dummies' books.. A better choice is the "Read Less-Learn More" series from 'maranGraphics'. They're almost entirely in pix, & the text is simple. You'll like the diskette characters that lead you through every thing.
When I got my 'Solomon', I was an idiot about computers, too. The 'Windows XP for Dummies' is not for the novice, & "P.C. for Dummies' isn't much better. I got the 'Windows XP Simplified' from maranGraphics, which is written from the viewpoint that you're computer-hopeless, like I was.
Oh, & skip the 'Windows XP Plain & Simple' by Microsoft...that's based on your being familiar with computers & earlier versions of Windows.
Good luck!
