Hey there!! Just how old IS everyone? If you wish to lie, go right ahead, we'd never know! ^_~

you tell me yours, and I"ll tell you mine. . .. ;)

Sequoia
February 20th, 2002, 01:44 AM
what? will nobody respond??

ok. . . here's an incentive. First person to guess my age *WITHOUT* looking at my profile (or knowing me in person LOL) gets a prize! but to compete, you must also list your age!!!

:D what are you waiting for?

I'm sorry. It's my usual smart-ass reply to "How old are you?".
Most people scratch their heads & say, "Huh? Rosenbergs? Duh, who are they?"
I have several answers, all equally smart-ass. I was born the year:
The Braves moved from Boston to Milwaukee.
Stalin died.
Sir Edmund Hilary made it to the top of Mt. Everest.
The coronation of Queen Elizabeth II was held.
I figure that if I make people look up the answer, they'll have a bit of trivia to amaze their friends with.
Slide on over to the Cloud & Tree, Topazz. I owe you two drinks.

Well I'm guessing I'm the youngest person ever on these forums?? I have no idea. Anyways, I'm 13 turning 14 in exactly 27 days!!
There are some big differences in age and from reading people's posts I was thinking everyone was in their late 20's - 30's...but i guess this thread has changed my mind.

well i have a lot more reading 2 do! have a nice day :)

forgot to say..... I'm turning 21 but I am mother to several adults- my housemates see me not just as a motherfigure but as an authority figure. Some of them are older than me and they are afraid of me when they do something wrong because they think I'm their mum. AAAGGGHHHHH.

oh well they are fun anyway.

I live in England the drinking age is 18 they buy their own drink. But as I said before my birthday is often ruined by friends letting me down. Well one of my plans was a big girls night out on the saturday after my birthday but another friend has decided to have his party on that night!!!!!! As peoples loyalty would be torn of whos party to go to I cancelled my night out and will have to change it. I knew this would happen. Grumble grumble grumble.

Does he know it's your birthday? If he was really a friend he'd want you to have your party then. Unless . . . your friends are planning a suprise party and they're trying to fool you?

Wishing you a Happy 21 Candles Day !

Yeah he knows its my birthday, but as I am having dinner with my closest friends on the friday so he doesn't see a problem with me having to cancel the saturday night for everyone else. Oh weel I may just change it to the Thursday then I can celebrate from midnight til midnight.

Well, I think he sounds like a selfish bum, then.

After all, your 21st is pretty special, and it only happens once.

Of course this is coming from someone who thinks it doesn't
really matter so much what day you celebrate, as long as
you're with friends having fun. But it sounds like it's important
to you and a real friend would respect your feelings. Humph.
