I am wondering....

I don't know anyone wiccan and I haven't a single clue how i even heard about it. I just remembering knowing what it is I really don't know where to start. You see I was born into the Hmong shamanism belief. Its a very powerful and magickal belief. Ever since the age of 12 though I have carried this knowledge with me. I am not yet wiccan but for seven years I have felt it and I am confused over it. How does one really learn about the presence of wicca. There are so many around me that know nothing about it. Every time i mention it to those around me it is simply brushed off. I've tried for seven years to leave it be, but here I am. I am ready to either learn it and be it, or I don't know I have a feeling it won't let up. I feel this is something i must do but I am I guess a little afraid of leaving the safety of the belief that surrounds me today.
I would be most grateful for any help advice anything at all. May all that surround you be blessed with light and love.

Well there's a wealth of info here on what Wicca is so feel free to search and surf around, and ask any questions you need to. You might also want to use a search engine like http://google.com/ to find some beginner sites to read. My best advice is for you to do as much research and learning as possible, take each day as it comes and see how things go. I know it can be a daunting task but if this is the path for you, you have a lifetime to follow it, and if not I think it will still enrich your life.
