Okay, I'm new to this forum, but I have considerable questions concerning upcoming eclipses, as I'm sure many do. Here's my chart for the lunar:

This is really hitting some major stuff in my chart, and would like some insights. Oh, and here is the progressed chart for the solar:

yeowszah! can we say 'be all you can be' and revaluate what 'you can be' often?

and ... happy birthday too! mine falls between the two as well.

the focus of the eclipses i see ... and i'm only going to talk generally about both as the lunar one is only a partial and it is so close to the solar, as well, astrodeinst does not give you the opportunity to time the transits, its done according to GMT, so the actual time of the transits of the eclipse can really paint the portrait of the exact impact on the chart ... perhaps KEishin who uses a different program may be able to time the actual eclipse transit chart ...

so, generalities, especially considering your progressed, that period is going to start opening a whole new way of thinking (mercury/ascend, opp saturn, triggering the yod; as well you progressed mercury is moving direct after a period of retrogression) ... there will be a considerable shift in how you think about what is going on with yourself ... what is real, what is not (saturn and neptune involved in the yod as well as their current stellar position in opposition).

the area of life is deeply related to your value system and goes back to your roots, those of your parents and ancestry and even beyond that. given the progressed as your moon superimposed on your natal 4th house, i would link that to the maternal ancestry.

mars is directly on top of the pluto in transition, so this is a deep, active transit time ... the kind of time an astrologer would look back and say, 'yep' see that, it doesn't surprise me that this huge thing occurred in his life. i'm not feeling anything 'tragic' or 'catastrophic' like a death or anything, but something fundamental will shift, and again, i go back to that mercury, for some reason, that's what's 'screaming' at me in your chart ... ways of thinking being shifted that are a departure from what you were taught ... and heck, it may be a shift in the notion of the parental units (seeing how the 4th & 10th house are in play) ...

for instance, if this was my chart, i would actually have a conversation on my birthday (if they were to call me as that is the only kind of time we speak), and they would say something like, "you know what honey, you are right. the bible does say "thou shall not kill" and war and killing is fundamentally wrong. we have joined the peace movement and are going to be working with cindy sheehan in crawford to help change the direction of our nation to one of peace making instead of war making." so, while its not a death, in my family that would be the hugeness of an experience you may be seeing in your charts.

for you, likely though, as pluto turns direct right at the transition from the 2nd and 3rd house, it has to do with something you've always felt or knew about yourself as something that was 'good' and you were told very young (likely a maternal judgment ... lots of moon energy) that it was not, and you've believed that lie for a very long, long time. a release of someone's else's judgment on your belief system (neptune/saturn) ... perhaps time for the witch to come out of the closet and stand in his power and starts leading people into the promise land (after all, anyone can stay out and lead people around in circles in the desert!)?

that's what i'm seeing/feeling ... again, the exact timing point of the eclipse may help give you more specific insight.

Thanks for the insight. Incidentally I did spend 9 1/2 years in the military, a fact that a lot of people who see my chart point out. I was also looking at the Venus conj Jupiter during this transit (we all want a little "luck" in our lives) and was just noting that trans Venus and trans Jupiter will conj natal Neptune in my 2nd house exactly 30 days later (Oct 22). Also that this eclipse on the 22nd is a repeat of the eclipse 2 days after I was born (22sep68). My feeling is that since the eclipse is sitting on Uranus and Part of Fortune in the 11th house, there will be some groups and friends involved with this big change in my life. I also noticed that there will be a repeat of Virgo/Pisces eclipses throughout 2007, affecting 5th/11th house issues. The yod has been a major aspect in my life, as Saturn is sitting on my Descendent (still flying solo. I have a synastry chart to look at later on). I'm figuring that perhaps my life is going to take a major turn from where it is or has been. Thanks for the input and if there are any other thoughts I'm very much open.
