Hi everyone,

I just wanted to wave hello  as it's been ages since I've been in at MW. You might remember me posting back in April/May time (as a newbie), but then I disappeared again. Lots been going on but I suddenly felt a drawing back to MW, so here I am ;) Hopefully I'll have time to join in some of your discussions now.

As an update:
For those who followed the thread on my poorly rabbit, Lara, she is still doing really well. She pulled thru the awful headtilt, but she is left with snuffles/pasteurella which will most likely come and go all her life. I'm trying her without antibiotics again at the moment, and keeping my fingers crossed that she will stay healthy without them. If there's any sign of the snuffles returning again then she might be on antibiotics for the rest of her life, poor girly. It's such a positive thing that she pulled thru tho, and she's enjoying life to the full now :D

I also posted in that time about using crystals to help with anxiety and withheld emotions/anger... I'm coming on well with this, I think. I'm trying to follow my heart a lot more in life which means I've not had such a build up of destructive emotions. I'm also doing lots to overcome my anxiety - e.g. learning to drive, for my own independence, and going for crystal healing sessions which has been wonderful ;)

Hope you're all ok. Will hopefully chat to you soon. Do any of you have a myspace web page, btw? I have the following, if anyone's interested... http://www.myspace.com/rabbiting

can you give us a report on what crystals you used ,how many and how long did it before they helped you.
Also i am glad everything worked out for you and your rabbit.

Hi Lightdragon,
Lol although I've given an extensive medical report to my original vet who wanted to put Lara to sleep (15 pages!!) I'm unable to give a report on crystals in this case :( Gutted about that, actually, but I was so distressed with what was going on that I concentrated entirely on the orthodox medical side in the end. She was (until very recently) on very strong antibiotics (penicillin injections at one point for a couple of weeks even!) plus steroids then NSAIDs for such a long time that I honestly had no spare time left to cover crystal healing. Couldn't believe how much time was taken up medicating her - every minute worth it of course!

It was daft really as I bought some of the crystals mentioned in Czechwoods' posts and even bought that crystal that you gave me a link for on ebay. I tried a few times to hold one of the crystals in my hand whilst massaging Lara but I didn't see any obvious signs of relaxation.

Of course I wish now that I'd had time to work with the crystals with her. I've seen what good they've done for me, but the critical moment has passed.

However... now might be a good time to start. She has just come off her antibiotics for the second time. The first time she came off them her pasteurella/snuffles (bacteria) disease came back after a couple of weeks so she had to go back on the antibiotics. We have to try her again without the antibiotics as it's not good for her to be on them long-term, but if her symptoms return within the next 6 months it's likely she'll be on antibiotics for the rest of her life! Not good at all :(

So. I have lots of crystals at hand and more time to try now. Should I go with Czechwoods' plan of action for when I posted about Lara having pasteurella-induced inner ear infection?
She said to use:
1. sodalite
2. kunzite or hiddenite
3. mookaite
4. eclogite or eudialite (these two are rare and hard to find)

if you cant get hold of kunzite/hiddenite
2. rosequartz
3. mookaite

I have some sodalite beads, kunzite (altho very pale I have 2 pieces, 1 green, 1 pink), mookaite and eudialite.

My aim now is to keep the pasteurella bacteria at bay. If it returns it could flare up as nasal congestion and sneezing, but it can rapidly hit any organ in her body. When she was very ill before it became an inner ear infection, therefore affecting balance. In orthodox medicine the only way of treating pasteurella is with long-term aggressive antibiotic usage. Unfortunately it is very likely that her pasteurella will return in her lifetime - sometimes many times - I have to try and keep her as happy as stress-free as possible!

Hope you can offer some advice for trying this again. I really want to keep her pasteurella at bay and elongate her antibiotic-free time.

What did help amazingly when she was critically ill was massage (she was very tense and stiff at times), and i did a lot of visualisation on her. I have no experience with doing this before: I'd just use my own techniques on me and hope for the best. I'd imagine her chakras spinning correctly, glowing with the right colours, one by one, then imagine a golden healing light coming in through the top of her head and out through her tail. Somehow this did seem to relax her. I'd hover my hand over each chakra as I imagined it spinning and glowing correctly, or massage gently. When imagining the healing light going through her I'd pass my hand over her body with each passing of light. This always seemed to help her. She'd often jump up and start eating by herself after or during these sessions (she was being syringe-fed at the time because of her nausea). So, altho I didn't get chance to test the crystal healing on her, I think I tested some other style of healing :D

Hope this helps. All best x

yeah this helps. I alway like to hear from results from crystal healings. it's good to know what works and what each person did on thir own to do the healing. And this healing techique is unique as i usually heard you start from the bottom to the top chakra. BUT if it works then go with it.

Last note Czechwoods is a HE not a she.Unless Czechwoods underwent a recent sex change operation I didn`t know about.
