This is really sad. In 2004, a woman who has a health blog posted about having a phone consultation with Sylvia Browne. She headed her post with "Sylvia Browne".
From around February 2005, people who presumably had found her post through sarching for SB, started posting questions to SB in the comments! They actually thought that it was SB's website, and that she was reading all their questions! Some people have posted comments telling them that this isn't SB's site, that she won't be reading any of their questions and that she only consults for a $700 fee anyway. But theSB fans just ignore this. 18 months later, the questions to SB are up to almost 300 and still coming.
It would be hilarious - except that so many of these people are clearly tragic and desperate and really think that SB can help them.
Read it and weep (http://www.healthdiaries.com/blogs/parentsfault/archives/2004/10/sylvia_brown.html)

I'm not going to read it all, but uh...how are these people mistaking her for Sylvia? Her blog post said this:

I had seen the psychic Sylvia Brown on shows like Montel Williams and Larry King telling people what their health problems were. So I arranged a phone consultation.

Oh and this, at the bottom of the entry:

Posted by elizabeth

Surely Sylvia would not make an appt to see herself. Or call herself Elizabeth.

I guess they didn't read the entry. Or something.

The first comment said:

just want to know if this things are read by sylvia brown herself

And there's this:

hey i dont know if sylvia is responding but just in case

Perhaps that's their reasoning for commenting? In hopes that Sylvia will read it and answer?

I don't know.

ETA:
Heh. Post 19:

People, why are you asking Sylvia Brown questions on here? This is not her website. This is a blog written by someone named Elizabeth who is talking about her experience with Sylvia. Hello?????? Do people even read anymore?

ETA: Some of these peoples comments and stories are sad. Cancers. Deaths. Missing people. :(
But like people keep saying the site isn't Sylvia's...but they just keep on posting.
It's also weird --amount of personal info posted here. TMI man.
