This is really sad. In 2004, a woman who has a health blog posted about having a phone consultation with Sylvia Browne. She headed her post with "Sylvia Browne".
From around February 2005, people who presumably had found her post through sarching for SB, started posting questions to SB in the comments! They actually thought that it was SB's website, and that she was reading all their questions! Some people have posted comments telling them that this isn't SB's site, that she won't be reading any of their questions and that she only consults for a $700 fee anyway. But theSB fans just ignore this. 18 months later, the questions to SB are up to almost 300 and still coming.
It would be hilarious - except that so many of these people are clearly tragic and desperate and really think that SB can help them.
Read it and weep (http://www.healthdiaries.com/blogs/parentsfault/archives/2004/10/sylvia_brown.html)
