Here in MS, we have a lot of Dollar General stores that sell cinnamon brooms for under $5 bucks. I've loaded up on a bunch the last several years, so this year I'm just going to spray them with some cinnamon scent to refresh them. They are about 3' long, and I've seen them on the 'net for a loooooot more than $5.

My previous residence, I made a fountain for my terrace. It was a bronze, frog prince spitting into a giant, black plastic cauldron (purchased round this season). It was a very happy part of my decor, in which the frog prince spitter is on a bookshelf in our living room and I adopted out the cauldron and pump to a former neighbor who now is enjoying a witch cauldron fountain on her terrace :)

I found some at a grocery store for a decent price and were several feet long. ;)

Bessoms make cute wedding presents too. You can decorate them for the couple and tell them to hang it over the door for good luck. They don't even have to be Pagan to go for that. I get a few every year.

You can get amazing things this time of year, I got a vinyl tablecloth with Witches on broomsticks and "cast a spell" written all over it. Maybe I'll leave it on the table all year. :deviltail
And here in Fundieland, this is the one time of year we can get black candles without having to resort to mailorder! :fpartyfav

I love this time of year! I can get the cutest things with bats, and ghosts, and skulls-and-crossbones. :cutie: And I totally need to get something cute and witchy to stick on my dorm door for Hallowe'en. I get the feeling I'm going to end up spending a lot of money at Claire's - their stuff is just adorable (and actually pretty good quality)! XD

I got a besom from Dollar General last season. I think they have them there year round.
My brother bought a cloak from Wal-Mart last year and he said that it was a fairly low price.
And I've gotten quite a few good deals off of e-bay,I know a lot of people don't care for e-bay,but God/Goddess don't really care where I get my tools.:T
I also got some really saweet deals on my oils at the Ohio Ren. Fest.:abanana:

Well I went to Home sense last night and was disapointed, dispite all their beautiful halloween decorations, they didn't have much that could be passed for pagan or witchy really :weirdsmil
I did see a nice display at a craft store called Micheals. Cute witchy wreaths and neat fiber optic pumpkins :fpartyfav
No pics this time :fpoke:

At the local grocery stores, they sell the little 3 foot besoms that are made of twigs and in the fall, they are apple/cinnamon scented...in the spring, they are honeysuckle/jasmine scented. I LOVE BIG LOTS!!!! They have sooooo much Autumn decoration there this year, I've gotten some things already, though I'm waiting until this coming Saturday to decorate the house. I got a small 6" pumpkin made from twigs at Target, that I put next to my gas stove/fireplace thingy. At Big Lots, I got a little thing to hang on the door - it's a vertically-hanging chain of wooden autumn leaves (painted) and there's a raised letter on each leaf, to spell out WELCOME. I'll try and post a pic of it later. I also got a little tin hanging that's painted and says "Autumn Greetings" on it, which is hanging in my kitchen. I found a cute Halloween wreath at Walmart last year, it's irridescent and purple and black and has little spiders all over it. I have a mason jar that was painted orange with a little witch on it, and you put candles inside (I bought it). I have tons and tons of Fall decorations, as it's my favorite season. I'll try and take pics of the house when I decorate this weekend - I do the whole downstairs.

The A&P near my place sells those brooms! I'm tempted by the cinnamon ones, but I'm a cheapscate too... I'm having trouble with the idea of paying approx. $7 for one broom (sad, I know). I'm still debating and will like debate until they are sold out... then I'll either say something silly like "Guess I wasn't supposed to have one" or I'll feel a little annoyed at myself. heh heh.
The apple one didn't smell as nice to me... but I am more of a cinnamon girl.

Theres a thread somewhere I started last year on the Witch Way -> sign that I found at wal-mart. I'm going to see what I can find here on the island. There isn't much shopping here so I may have to order things & with it being so Catholic here I'm sure they've banned that "evil" holiday here anyways. lol

I went to Value Village yesterday, and they have a broom, with a sign attached that says either "The Witch is In" or "The Witch is Out".
It's only $8!!!! I'm sooooo getting one of each!

I've been seeing signs like that around here. Cute little ones that you hang up. I'm SO tempted!
But last night at Marshall's I did get an older witch doll flying on a broomstick. She has black and grey hair, tattered skirts (blacks and pinks), glasses, a few wrinkles (kind reminds me of a version of mother goose), and some magic tools hanging from her belt (a bit of moss clumped and tied together, some strung seashells, and a bottle of sand containing tiny shell bits and glitter). I fell in love with her. They had so many cute witches! But she was my favorite and I'm trying to portion out my spending.
They did have some great witch music boxes that moved a little. Reminded me of some old victorian style deco pieces.
I will take pics soon.

Recycle things around the home. Nature is free, just ask for it.. dont rob it of its life. :cutie:

Last year I found the coolest things at Menard's... Strange isn't it... You would think a Hardware store doesn't carry a lot of witchy things - but hey.... The prizes were reasonable as well. I'll make sure I'll check it out this year as well...

Okay... I'm gonna try to keep it to the witchy stuff... and I do have more that I know I'll pick up or unpack. (I have a glittery pink witch shoe votive candle holder and a frogs statue with a witch hat I have yet to get pictures of... not to mention a number of other things.)
But here's a couple pictures to start with (and I'll cut out the halloween funness that isn't necessarily witchy).
The tree is an item I use for various purposes all year. Right now, I have the clip on bats on the front of it. The flying witch looks mean in these pictures because of the angle, but her expression is actually very kind and she's actually smiling.

I put up all my seasonal decorations. I am saving the specifically Halloweenie stuff for later in Oct., right now I just have autumn stuff up. It's not "witchy", per se, but it is to me b/c I follow a very hedgey path, so seasonal is witchy to me. Anyway, pics to follow!
