Today I attended my dear friends funeral. He was only 43 years old! All the way down to the funeral I was thinking about my brother Scott who has been missing for three years. During these years he has missed the funerals of numerous friends, our grandmother and our cousin! And now he was missing another. Upon arriving at the funeral I saw my friend Dennis. When I walked up to him he told me that he had seen and spoken to my brother just yesterday! He is alive and well, clean and sober! I could not believe my ears! I thought I would collpase right then and there...the tears came as the realization of what he told me became real! On a day of such sorrow there was also some joy in my heart! Even though I have not seen him with my own eyes, hugged him with my own arms...I feel his presence in my life again and I could not ask for more! Thank you Goddess for this wonderful gift!

Kinda like that old saying that the Gods never close one door, without opening another :) I am sad for your loss, but very happy, for the loved one you've now found :)

I am so glad to hear your good news. Death is a sad occassion,
but that news made a stronger statement about life than the
funeral. So Happy for you!!!

It's always tough losing someone you care about....:( But at the same time it's great hearing about someone you have been missing for ages.. :) It's kind of a mixed blessing!
