Up for nationals .. please send energy to my choir!

We're recording 2 songs for nationals next week ... we're one of the top 5 choirs in the country, and we really need this so the choir can continue, because the principal, grr, is mad at us because of the audition choirs and then the testing, and we need something to show how much benefit it can be to the chior. Grr, he makes me mad.

But anyhoo, we're recording next week, and we sound pretty good, i must say ... on one song, the hard one, go figaure. The other one -- Contropunto Bestialemente or something -- is increasingly hard because we've switched the keys all of 3 times ... from C, to C Sharp, to D, to C Sharp again ... and we can't test it before we record, because today was our last rehersal, other than class.

So please, energy and prayers, or whatever are needed, so we can continue doing what we love! This must sound kinda greedy .. .but i don't really mind, if you don't. I want to win bad. We need to make up for the football team *cackle*.

If we make it, i'll see if I can get ahold of a cd, so you can here us. But we might not make one if we don't make it, for we make them to send into nationals. Anyhoo, all thoughts, prayers, and energy welcome.

Nope, we don't go done south, because the choir teacher doesn't like it, supposedly. even tho he grew up there. or perhaps, thats why. all the things he didn't like he moved up here to get away from, but then of course, he now hates the smells of cows and people who don't bathe. Come to my school to smell either.

Actually, we're going to Toronto and Hershey, Pa. To Hershey park! and some other Park! i think.

ooooh ok...i was just like...waaaaaaaaait a minute...cause i was in Music in the parks last year in Hershey Pa! The highschool that we competed in was gorgeous!!!!!!!!!

Cool ... i've only been it for 2 years, but in all 3 chiors out of 5, the other two being womens and 9th grade, which i can't enter.

the facilites are awesome! and then you spend the day on the rides. its great!

thanks! i'm sure we need all the help we can get!

You see, the men and women have different days of after school rehersal, and even tho the guys had 2 less rehersals, we learned the whole piece a couple weeks ago, and the women learned if aproximatly ... yesterday. For Go, lovely rose, that is, not Countropunto. And we haven't even looked at the third peice we're doing at the concert yet, just focusing on those two. Things are deffinatly in high gear practice wise ... we practice those two songs for at least 30 minutes every class period ... which i kinda feel bad about because there are people that didn't make it in there, as well.
