Laiste, I'm not sure if this relationship is still current, if it's worked itsself out, or not...so i'm going to do a general reading for you, and if I see something pop up about relationships...i'll draw more cards for more depth.

Okay..i did a slightly modified celtic cross. Very slightly..heh. One card difference :) Bear with me, it will be a LONG reading.

Okay...first card is (in this layout), where your heart is at. What is mostly enveloping your mind and heart at this time. The most important thing to you. And I get the King of Wands. So..I'd say that there is a guy who is really influencing your life right now..to the point where you're almost..umm..obsessed (exaggeration..but you get the point). He's swept you off your feet, being that the King of wands is highly charasmatic, and magnetic. Almost a Svengali type of guy.

Next Card, is the problem, or what you perceive as the problem. And that is the Lovers. Is either of you involved with another person? If not, then I'd say the great debate within you, is whether or not you will ever be lovers, or are meant to be lovers.

The root of the problem, is the next card. And this was justice. I would say that someone is concerned with doing the "Right" thing, and being "Fair". I've at times been in relationships with guys who knew they weren't ready for the type of commitment i was, and felt it would be Unfair to continue the relationship, knowing I wanted more than they could give. Is this perhaps similar to your case? Or is there someone else that this might not be "fair" to? This card can also indicate a legal situation....might he be going through a divorce? Or be caught up in some sort of legal issue? Or he may be a law enforcement officer.

In the past, I see the Eight of Cups. This speaks to me of a walking away of things old, into the unknown. Taking a leap of faith. And also sacrifice. Often, giving up what is comfortable, and familiar, in order to gain something deeper and richer, but as of yet, unknown. This seems to be reaffirming my earlier thought, that perhaps one of you was previously involved with someone else, and this was a huge leap for the two of you. Or involved some sort of risk, on some level. Where by having a relationship with eachother, you could in fact take a blow for it.

In the highest ideal position, I drew the Page of Wands. Highest ideal means that which is most important for you to think about/concentrate on. Often the Page of Wands indicates a child, or a childlike being. The page of wands is often, also the messenger. Since you asked about relationships..I would have to say that this is saying that if you have children, watch their reaction to this man. Listen to what THEY think about this guy..if they've met him. If they haven't yet met him, think about what possible influence he could have on them, and if it would be positive or negative. Above all..consider the ramifications of this relationship upon your child/children.

In the future, I see the three of pentacles, which is a card of applying one's craft or skilled trade. Hard work, and diligence, working with ones hands, or their natural skills. If I were to guess as to how it pertains to relationships, i would say that it will be very important, if you intend to continue the relationship, to MAKE time to be together, as a work situation in the future could take up much of your time. And it also indicates to me, that the relationship will be hard work, and take much effort to maintain. But what relationship doesn't?

Hmm..interesting...the next card, is how you perceive yourself. And I see that as the Emperor. Heh..considering the title under your avatar...heheh. I would say, basically, that you are very used to controlling your own environment. Being in charge of yourself. This relationship, and how it has effected you, has thrown you for a loop, because you feel somewhat out of control with it.

The next card is how others perceive you. This could be an important card, because it can very much influence the issue at hand. I drew the seven of pentacles. The seven of pentacles is someone who is very dissatisfied in a work situation, or in their current environment. Perhaps people see that you are frustrated with your current life, and that you are at a pivotal time...waiting to burst into something new?

Hopes and fears card, Came up as the Ace of Swords. This card, to me, is triumph over adversity. Whatever roadblocks are in your relationship, despite your fears, if you work hard enough at them, you CAN overcome them. Earlier, i drew a card saying there would be a need for a lot of hard work. This card reaffirms it. It is not going to be an easy or smoothe road, but it can be done.

This, because your outcome card, is the three of cups, which I often associate with celebrations, joy, happiness :)

Keep in mind, that even if the relationship you were originally speaking of when you posted this thread is no longer in place, this could very well be a relationship you will encounter in the near future...so keep it tucked away in your heart.
