Has anyone ever gone on one of these cruises especially designed for homeschoolers or even looked into it? They seem inexpensive and I am considering spending the next year working together as a family to earn/fundraise enough money to go.

See, why didnt we find out this stuff when we were home schooling our kids? This is totally unfair and I demand retro active cruising take place for Tesra and I right now!...and could someone watch the boys for us while were gone? They have school and all...

Thats one of the best bits about homeschooling for the parents, isnt it? You get to homeschool yourself right along with the kiddies. This particular cruise has on board marine biologists for the university of Miami, you go snorkling, visit some mayan ruins.....oh, I cant wait! :)

Wow!! What an awesome idea. My kids are too young but we're planning on homeschooling. I hope these cruises are still around when they're older

The one we are considering is in its eighth year, and there are others. Its just too great an opportunity to quit doing them - for the homeschoolers and for the cruise lines!

I had no idea this was available. The things you learn here. :) Is there a link to a reputable website? Or do you just go to the main cruise sites and look there?
I'm not homeschooling this year, but we never know when that will change in the future. So I try to keep up to date on things, especially things I know nothing about. lol
I completely agree with Rhisiart..we should be allowed to partake too. lol

For real? A homeschooling cruise!? I would love that.
Question though, when homeschoolers get together I find that at least 90% of it is christian-based. Are the lectures educationally centered or biblical inspiration?
Have you found a link yet? Am I being too impatient?
