Murder in dreams...

What does being murdered yet not dying represent in a dream? I have had numerous dreams where I am being murdered (i.e. stabbed, shot, beaten, etc.) yet I don't die. Instead I'm usually lying on the ground and the person (its never the same individual, male or female and usually strangers) is either crying, amazed, or angry while trying to kill me. I can feel the pain and the blood, but I don't die. Only on two occasions has somebody rescued me but only after the "killing" had occured.
Sometimes I'm dragged around by my legs by the "killer" or I'm left to rot.

So are there any ideas?

changes. death to oneself usually represents changes in a persons life. the two times you were rescued by someone else probably means you had changes that involved another persons help.

but if you believe in reincarnation..

they could be flashbacks to previous lives. if thats the case....it sucks to be you, you always end up dead prematurely. :lol:
