Hi all..I am very new to all of this..If there is a sub,sub,10 times over neophite thats me. My daughter gave me this site and it fascinates me. I will be joining some classes also. All I know is that I used to dream future things that always came true. They were always things I didn't want to know, death, danger, ect and I willed myself not to dream again. My daughter thinks this is wrong, divorcing a part of myself. Maybe if I find Paganism is right for me, not traditional ChristianityI will find that she is right. Or maybe dreams don't figure in Paganism? Anyway I find that I really want to check it out.

Well, lets see...glad to see you here! And about the dreams. You are probably doing a disservice to yourself by blocking your dreams. These messages may not be what you want to know or see...but they are messages none the less. You can learn to live and coincide with these 'lessons' without them disrupting you. First, you have to look inside yourself and ask 'why am I so afraid of these messages?'
And I encourage you to take classes...Christian or Pagan. Doesnt matter. It is whats in the Heart that really matters. Deity is Deity. Whatever name you choose.

thanks for the reply. I am not interested in "Christian" theories, I have studied them , in all forms extensvily & they aren't the answere for me. In fact they were the reason I "forced myself" to stop the dreams. The dreams still "peek" thru occasionaly. The christian (orthodox) religian taught me they were wrong. Maybe Paganism is right for me. The dreams scared me..never (almost) could do anything to stop the event from happening. Will there be any class on basic instruction in the near future? I would be very interested.

i've been searching for ages to find whats right for and i still aint got no where i don't like christianity no offence to any christians i have had to study that all the time in r.s sinces our teachers a christian and i just don't agree with anything he says about the religion

I think we can start a basics course if you want...I would encourage you to go ahead and join the Magick, Ritual, and Tarot classes right now. Get in and get involved. All of these classes can aid you and none are too advanced. If you have any specific questions then you can post on those as we go. Dont be afraid to ask questions...no matter how foolish you think a question might be...at one time or another our lives, we asked the same questions.

Hi Mol, thanks for the reply. A basic class would be wonderful. I have joined the tarot class and find it very interesting. Oh, another ?. I see the Mark all posts as read which I click after I have read all on that board, but when I go back & click on check new posts, I get ones I have already read. What am I doing wrong? I need to figure this out as my hubby & I will soon be moving into our 5th wheel & traveling. I will have internet where digital or convential are available but will cost me by minute on my phone time. If I could figure this out would really help.

Well, you are not doingit wrong. Even though you mark them as read...all the posts will still appear. If you notice the "Check New Posts" menu option...that can be used after marking all clear...so you only get the new ones since your last logon.

Sounds like you and your hubby are headed for some funtimes. I would love to travel sometime. You will have to keep us informed of all the great places you see. On your dreams I disagree with Mol, big surprise there huh!?!?! I think that if they are making you uncomfortable then it is ok to avoid them when possible. If we all knew ahead of time what was going to happen, we would likely never venture out of our homes for the fear, and in turn miss out on a lot of life! At some point you may welcome this as a gift, but until you are ready for that there is no sense torturing yourself. Just my thoughts.
