Those of you who frequent critter chat know what's going on with my animals, but I also wanted to drop a line in here to get some extra oomph for my guys.

I've had a really busy week at the vets office. My 13 year old German Shep went back for sores on her legs and belly, she's on antibiotics, pain meds, soaks, and a restricted diet. Then our other dog Oscar had to have surgery to remove several absesses. Today, I took 2 of my cats, Coco and Sasha along with one of the ferrets, Fredo, to the vet. Coco needs to have his teeth cleaned, which is fine, no biggie. Sasha, who went in for a possible urinary tract infection, now has a heart murmur that could possibly be cardiomyopathy. She is hospitalized right now for the UTI and has to go back on Monday for a cardiac ultrasound. Fredo is suspected to have adrenal tumors that have to be removed. He is going in for surgery on Tuesday along with Coco.

Clearly, I need energy for all of my animals, even the ones that aren't sick. Could you guys spare some for them?

Aww poor animals :(. I hate taking my pets to the vet..because some how..they know when they're going and hate it (lol)!

Thank you, I would literally die for them if the need ever arose! And it's obvious, I'll go broke for them too!! :lol:

Thanks again, everyone. Sasha is currently at the vet waiting for her cardiac ultrasound.

Diana is vomiting due to the meds, so I'm waiting to hear about replacement meds. Grumble.....

Just wanted to post a quick update. Sasha is home. Her cardiac ultrasound came back and the heart murmur is just that, a heart murmur!!! The vet doesn't think it will get worse with time!

Now, Coco and Fredo have to get through their procedures tomorrow!

Diana is to be taken of the antibiotics for now to see how she does.

Coco and Fredo are at the vets....

Diana is getting worse, vomiting hasn't stopped and she urinated on herself overnight. My heart breaks. I'm trying whatever I can to get her better. I'm taking her off the pain meds to see if that stops the vomiting and I'm going to get her pepto bismol. The sores are healing well, no bleeding and no oozing. Please continue to keep her in your minds. Thank you!
