To make a long story short. I got his licence # FINALLY and called the cops. Within an hr.! the Washington Co. Sheriffs called back saying they caught him and "Put the fear of God in him". !!!
thanks Officer Mikkleson I owe you one!
HA! Mess w/MY mate!!

Sheesh, and I thought you were "calling all perverts" with your subject. ;)
Good think you got that guy's license number. What a skank! Hopefully he won't be back.

what state do you live in?
In NJ, they would have, well, not cared.

I have traveled the length and breadth of the US and have yet to find another like it. Home to logger, hippie, yuppie, redneck and others. Yet, they all live side by side!
Don't make me go off topic. heheheh
You know......I think you hit the nail on the head. This man was caught and the reason I live here is well, people DO care! Citizen and :scream: (don't make me SAY it!) police also. The reason the police care!??

Around here, the police are policed. Darrell Gates (L.A.s ex chief!!! can you say O.J.?) is Portland PDs chief. But thats another story.
Seriously. It all starts with the person you look at in the mirror each morning. THAT person MUST care! Then, as in all things, Live the Example. Don't be afraid Show you care. If enough people do, :) Who Knows?
In this example, I may have stopped a woman (or kid) from being molested. Never mind my mate was involved, I would have done it anyway. By caring, I may have changed the future.....think about it.:nyah:

hellz yeah!! good for you!!!
-_-; the police here suck. One time my baka mom was getting bitchy because of my brother being a monster (as usuall) and turned on me and whacked my ankle hard with a broomstick. I didn't want to stick around that shit. So I limped down to the public phone and called the police. Hello, "child abuse"?
So he comes, listens to my story, and then, get this, TAKES ME BACK TO MY MOM!!! He talks to her, buys her story of me throwing a tizzy fit, and SENDS ME BACK HOME, telling me NOT TO LEAVE THE HOUSE!!!!! I'm like DUDE she could be beating me, and you're telling me to stay with her???
I think I lost my faith in the police about then lol

It may just come with the territory. . . **soft smile** you gotta figure, they're police, they see a lot; and when they think of child abuse that warrants investigation, they're thinking of things that involve fractured bones, welts and bruises over a good percentage of the body, etc.--y'know, the kind of physical treatment that could place a kid's life at risk.

Our local police are pretty cool. Except for the idiot who got involved in another depts. chase and rolled his car three times and smashed a culvert. Other than the occasional nut they do a pretty good job here.:)

Good for you!!!!
It takes everyone to make a community safe! I think the police here would take it seriously... but as long as you have info for them to follow up on, otherwise it's a huge search for a needle in a haystack!

On the bright side the dude wasn't trying to pick up little boys or something. At least it was women who are smart.
I want to be a cop when I grow up. Which is odd for how many laws I break. 8O But I'd rather work with the CSI or something. You do have to be a patrol cop for a while before that tho.

Hey, if you're gonna break laws. . .
I think I'd like a job in something like computer crime. . . identity theft, that sort of thing. I don't know if I could deal with the bureaucracy that comes with a local or state government job, though. . . it's bad enough dealing with the bureaucracy I deal with now.

 They suck here too.. They say the best places for speeding and being drunk out of your mind is right in front of the station. I wouldn't doubt it - the donut shop is right up the street, but far enough away so they can't see nuthing from there.

If your in the same situation where your mom abuses you just call cps (child protective services) just realize there going to put you in a group home. It's up to you to weigh the pro's and con's.
I hate most cop's, there asshole's for the most part. Don't get me wrong there are some cool one's but alot of them are dirty. Then again I have alot of quam's with the government in general. That would be a whole different thread.
There are some good cops, like once I was on vacation in houston and I was walking 3 hours to an old friend's house I hadn't seen in a year. about 20 minutes of walking a femal cop stops me and asks why I'm out during school. I tell her my story and she give's me a ride to where I was going and even let me sit up front. Now that was cool.
I also knew a cool cop here in chattanooga, he was one of the night patrollmen and let me off all the time for being out past curfew. He's now the DA here.
