Interesting fun factoid of the day...
Kamehameha is the name of certain chiefs and deities in Hawaii... It is also a kind of attack used in the cartoon Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball Z/ and Dragon Ball GT.

Actually it's a mistake in translation/pronunciation. In the original Japanese, it's pronounced, "Ka-me Ha-me HAAAA!" as a focus for the attack (I've seen many of the episodes in the original Japanese -- did you know that the character called "Hercules" in English was "Mr. Satan" in the Japanese?). When the scripts were sent to the US for translation, they simply transliterated the phonetic Japanese language for that phrase, since it was meaningless. However, in English, it was written Kamehameha, which was the name of one of the Hawaiian kings. And it was pronounced that way in the series, which is totally nonsensical in context, since it no longer makes a good focus shout. (Apparently nobody bothered to watch the original show ....)
