Some of you know me, which is why I'm here in the first place. I'm Azure; I'm an actress from Nashville, TN; I'm 29; I have a dog and three cats, and overload of stress for pets.

Whatever else you wish to know, just ask!

I've spent time hanging out elsewhere on line with KBlackthorne, Earthcup, Melysande; and Wanderer in Gray - and probably with several others among you. I look forward to getting to know everyone else here.

So I went over to Bnet last night, and it was a shadow of it's former self. I only posted in Recon, and I imagine that's how it will be from now on when I'm there. It's a little bit sad, but I guess it was inevitable. There are lots of new people there, making the place quite sunny and different already, though.

(My complaint not being about the choice per se, but only that I firt think of Phoenix Blue when addressing someone as "Phoenix".)

*smiles* I'll tell you a little bit about it...but it's a long and complicated story so I won't do a very good job.

In simplest terms....there were probably four main problems:

1)Lack of communication
2)Lack of respect
3)Lack of proper moderators (b-net only installed them about three months ago)
and
4)Scapgoatting and Deat Horse beating

Sprinkle liberally with some intolerance, personal vendettas, tempers, egos, high-brow mentality, hatred, paranoia, and staff issues and you've got the makings of a website exodus.

*soft smile* I know that probably doesn't help with what *actually* happened there, but it's a story of many people's making and I don't think I could tell it all myself.

:( If you're still interested to know more, I'd recommend PMing some who were there....but I have no interest in rehashing every bloody, hurtful detail out here in public. Not only is it too painful, but I think it would taint this place, and I'd hate for that to happen.

It's not fair to you guys. *soft smile* And not fair to those of us who'd just like to leave our past behind us. *thinks of Pumba saying "you have to leave your behind, in the past"*

OK... I understand a little bit more now... We had a time of some pretty bad problems, so you aren't going to taint this place... Just don't make me angry... You won't like me when I'm angry. ;) (J/K... I'm a little warped if you haven't noticed yet.) Honestly though, we give people a lot of lee way here, and expect people to take personal responsibility for their actions. As long as there are no flames, and stupid crap like that, you'll be fine.

Anyway, a little warped-ness is a good thing. . . it makes for nice, rounded personality. (Rounded like a smiley?) And it's nice to know that here, at least, people have more on the line than the bottom line.

Also... Dont worry about the bad apples coming here. We've dealt with them before, and if there only purpose in coming here is to start problems, then they'll get banned. That simple. :)

Thank you, Katherine - things with my family stil suck in the days following the funeral, but ironically enough, I'm getting a new lesson from the Gods in the midst of all of this - stupidly, happily - I seem to be falling head over heels for one of my friends in LA who has been so helpful through all of this. Jenn, PB, and Honor have heard too much about it. He's been such a wonder. . . Sigh. Just when you stop looking, I guess.
