View Full Version : Something that makes me kind of sad

I watch the news on TV, and the top stories are always about death from religious beliefs. It makes me sad to think that someone could be so adamantly hateful against another because of a different spirtual path... I have come to the conclusion that you live the life you wish to live and abide by the rules you set for yourself. With me, all religions are valid and to fight over superiority of whatever religion is foolish... I don't think it says anywhere that you can kill someone because they don't believe what you do... It is savage, why must it be that way? *Le sigh* I guess thats just the human brain for you... I wish people would just wake up and smell the coffee. Step off their high horse and listen to others about what they believe, the world would by far be a better place...

It's amazing how so many wars are caused by religion.

I understand completely what you are writing about. I too think that it is so sad that people can be so close minded when it comes to certain subjects such as religion. Why does the news show all these atrocities? Do you think that the media covers these type of stories to make people see what results from ignorance? Doubtfully. They just want a story that sells. I wish that the media would focus more on the good things that are going on in the world instead of the negative ALL the time.

That falls under the corruption and coverups of the journalism world, better suited for PP

the media is run by the same people who run the government and it's all cencored. The news you see is only what they want you to see. You really have to do independent researching on subjects to get real story's, but the interesting subjects are rarely even broached upon regular tv. I'm talking about the things that could change our way of living, and change the balance of power. And the people that run thing's don't want you to know the truth so they will fill your mind with more propaganda and horrid thought's that you will have your fill of news and never pursue the real issues.
