2 parts to this question:

A) What in ur experience is the Hindu view concerning Jesus' divinity? Is he seen as an 'Avatar' of a particular God?Ive heard from various sources that he is an avatar of Vishnu yet there is no reference to him in the traditional list of 10, generally all forms of the Divine are recognised and accepted within the broad scope of ' Hinduism' from what you have picked up would Jesus generally be considered a God or a 'Siddha', or perhaps even both as perhaps a vastly enlightened being achieving extremely high spiritual merit can eventually be deified in some form?

B) Jesus lived in India? Many theories abound concerning this the tombs in Jammu/Kashmir,surviveng the crucifixion, perhaps there not even being a crucifixion taking the Gospel of Judas into account, references to ' Issa' the translated name of Jesus and certain Indian thought patterns appearing in his teachings. Certainly the silk route to the East was well developed by the time of Jesus and there were definite ways and means of reaching far flung lands. on the other hand perhaps Jesus studied under emigrated Yogi masters in Egypt, their travels being well documented in the literature of the ancient world. Thoughts?

The traditional list of ten avatars of Vishnu is pretty slippery in itself - Gaudiya Vaishnavas often substitute Balarama (the half brother of Krishna) for Buddha...
There are any number of persons / beings who have been identified as avatars of Vishnu; I've certainly seen temples (usually in the west), where Jesus is accepted in that way, and included in the iconography.
As for Jesus travelling East - it isn't borne out by what he teaches - which is pure reforming Judaism typical of the itinerant rabbis of the time (Akiva for example) - that theory needs the application of Occam's razor.

I don't know the answer to your questions, but these might be of interest:

From ReligiousTolerance, show's similarities:

transcribed by Levi H. Dowling (http://pw1.netcom.com/~mokeeffe/AquarianGospel1-15.htm) -- also mentions India. It's not an actual historical Gospel. Intersting read though, all the text seems to be at that link.

The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ (full title: The Aquarian Age Gospel of Jesus, the Christ of the Piscean Age) is the tale of Jesus Christ which includes “the ‘lost’ eighteen years so strangely silent in the New Testament.” The book, first published in 1908, was written by Levi H. Dowling (aka Levi) during the late nineteenth century. Dowling claimed to have transcribed it from the Akashic Records.
