I read it, and while i believe the scientists, i don't think this disproves out of body experiences or astral protjection, even though i haven't projected, yet, i think when you do, do it, you just know that it's real, and this course i've started says your beliefs will change, you'll go from believing in a soul or whatever and other worlds/realms, to actually knowing they exist, just like i know the swimming pool i've just used exists ('cause i just went there ;)).
Although, these scientists only really covered people who thought they had an out of body experience, not those who forced themselves to go out of body or willed it.

the point was that they sort of discovered it by accident, not that they were looking for a cause for OBE.
Who knows, they might be right. They might be wrong, but they might have figured it out. doesn't make experiences any less valid, but it's thoroughly possible that there's no such thigns as "going out of body"

There is no telling whether everyday things like swimming pools are real or not. I've been in states of mind where my everyday world seem so distant and unreal compared to what I was going through at the time.
The sense of realness or phantomness is just an effect of the brain. It makes some experiences seem real and others seem more ephemeral. NOTHing is realer than anything else . . . perhaps. I've a feeling i'M GONNA regret saying that.
