He's on his fourth round with cancer, and this will be the one that kills him. He had a tumor removed from his jaw on 8/8. It's back so badly that you can't even tell it was ever removed, it's gotten bigger. They've stopped radiation therapy, and right now it's just a waiting game. He's asleep, and on a vent to keep breathing along with morphine for pain control. His circulatory system has shut down, so it won't be long. 36 more hours at the most.
Forrest has lived a long life and has lots of family that loves him. He had 6 children, and they have all gone on to have many children of their own (twins runs strongly in this family), and their children have had children. We are all going to miss him dearly, but it is his time to go and be re-united with his wife, Alice, whom died 12 years ago from her third round with cancer.
What I am asking for is energy for Forrest's passing, that it be a smooth transition into heaven for him. That he is no longer in any pain, and that the family can understand that.
