I'm new to this and would like to find guidance. Do you guys have any reccomendations on any of your religions? I want a religion where I can have my gods talk to me, you know visions and stuff. I don't want to talk to a god that never talks back like in some religions. If so, can anyone please give me the invocation ritual?

I say study whatever your heart desires, and when a God or Goddess chooses you, You'll know.

Uh.. it doesn't quite work like that.
You can't (as far as I'm aware) just randomly invoke some God because someone says that he/she will talk back, especially if you're new and don't have the fuzziest idea of what you are doing.
"Visions and stuff" is a pretty broad way to put it, but I'd be willing to guess that 89% of people who talk to their Gods don't have visions, and the ones that do usually had them before knowing God anyway. There is no switch that you can just turn on.
Not all Gods love people unconditionally, you have to earn their respect and attention, so they might not talk back the first time, and if they do it wont be all smoke and thunder like you might expect.
It'll take work, time, effort no matter what religion you look into. It's about having a relationship with them upstairs and a relationship can not be built over night.
Best wishes!!

I think as you go about trying to find a spiritual path, you should ask yourself several questions, including:
What do I believe?
Do I believe in one God/Goddess, two Gods/Goddesses, many Gods/Goddesses, or none at all?
How do I see and define the world around me?
Do I believe humans are essentially good, essentially evil, or somewhere in between?
What are values, morals, and ethics that are important to me?
Am I drawn to any particular mythology or pantheon?
(more that I can't think of right now)
Once you answer these questions, research, meditate, and then research and meditate some more - an answer and a path will come to you eventually.
Best wishes on your journey...

Ok thanks for the detailed explanation. id do that karma thingy to you but im new so i can't.Thanks everybody else too. It's just that it seemed everyone here has had religious experiences. I recently invoked Astaroth, she didn't show up but I got an intense pulsating in my forehead as soon as I closed my eyes. What does that mean?

Most likely the energy from your third eye/brow chakra. Either it opening, or perhaps a blockage, depends on the sensation and what you feel it was.

Thats what i thought. how do i know if its open? what happens if its blocked?
When I did it, it was a very intense throbbing feeling. I wouldn't know how else to describe it...

===> I agree. Study many different religions and see what you tend toward. I have several friend (myself included) where the God/Goddess chooses you. But it will take time to realize this. It takes self-exploration and religious studies.

===> Another good point!!! Not many people actually hear the voice of their God or goddess in their head. That is quite a gift, quite a rare gift. A slightly more common occurance is that your God/Goddess will give you a slight nudge or feeling about something. That is something that takes practice, listening to that "voice". I must stress it is not actually a voice, but is a feeling. Visions is also a rare gift. And having them usually has little to do with being connected to a God or Goddess. It tends to be a gift on it's own. However, it is not unheard of to have a God or Goddess giving a person the gift of visions. But again, it is rare.
For instance, I myself, can hear the voice of God and can converse with Him and angels. But I know no one else in my life (no matter what religion) who can do this. ANd personally, I attribute this gift to my being angelkin.
You can learn to see "visons" is the way of meditations and astral projection and scrying.
It also really depends on what kind of "visions" you were talking about. Were you talking about visions of the future, visions of the present, visions of the past, visions of the truth (like seeing people's feelings or thoughts or intentions) Most of those are gifts you are born with or a natually given. However, you can see the present, past and future by scrying for instance.

Maybe you should work on developing your psychic skills to increase your sensitivity and awareness of the Gods. You can connect with most of them, I don't know about literally talk back, but you can definitely communicate with them. You'll find the ones that are right for you, most often they choose you before you choose them. My advice is to meditate regularly.
