An introduction

Hello and well met!

I've been lurking for a few days and the urge to post keeps popping up, so I thought I'd best get my first post out of the way. It's nice to see a forum with so many wide views, so I hope to stick around. :)

I describe myself as pagan, a term I just recently started using after a year of deliberation, reading, searching, and journaling; I figure it's sunk in.;) There's still so much I'm interested in finding more about that it can be overwhelming at times, but I've found it breaks down neatly into two categories: stuff to look up, and stuff to ponder. It's the second category that had me looking for forums.. during and after turning something over in my head to figure it out, I love discussion. Unfortunately, I don't know many pagans in my area(and most of the ones I do know are nice but have already answered the big questions enough that they don't like to talk about them much. It's.. weird!), so...here I am.

Hello Lisa.

The Dalles is 1 of my 2 hometowns (the other was Goldendale).

North Bend is nice. I especially like the ease of access to just above Crater Lake. That spot rivals the Redwoods, in my opinion.

Actually, through some mishap of Oregonian proportions, North Bend isn't actually anywhere near Bend. I've heard Bend is nice, but North Bend is next to Coos Bay all the way on the coast, with ease of access to nothing save a Super Wal*Mart.;)

mmmmmm. the pacific coastline..... I've driven the length once or twice (years ago) I don't remember a spot anywhere there that isn't deep breath inducing.
