**Really** clean crystals (stupid question inside)

I usually carry some crystals in my pocket depending on my needs. Ding dong that I am, I sent a few through the laundry. Do I need to cleanse (this time in salt water maybe? :D) and recharge them? I just did this the last full moon, do I need to wait til the next one?

Believe it or not, the crystals do feel different, definitely colder. So I guess they need something.

hehe if you feel they need cleansing go nuts. I wouldn't wait till the next full moon but that's just me. If you like cleansing yours by the full moon then you could wait. Whatever works for you is best :)

Call me crazy (just don't call me late to supper), but I like solar energy in my crystals...

Since everything you have is "charged" with your energy or aura, washing things usually erases it. Cleansing and recharging would be a good idea.

Don't worry. I once had a hematite pentecal, and my little sister threw it in the dryer. Hematite shatters easily....

(I'm still pissed about that)

sunlight is good, but you have to watch it with some crystals. It can fade Rose Quartz, and if it's strong enough, the uv light will turn amythyst brown. It's fantastic for clear quarts though - but watch out for any refracted hot-spots - don't start a fire, now, there's a good boy!!!;)

if you live near a well, i suggest well water. It usually does the trick for me (who lives out in the boonies) or failing that....a river is excellent for cleansing too. Just dont let them outta your sight!! *mooncookie is still searching her local river for a couple of runaways!! :p *
