It's actually, quite a spiritual movie. It's about this computer wizard, who sees everything in life as numbers. He starts thinking of numbers as living breathing things, and is trying to predict the stock market based on his observations and programs.

Well, one day when he's running his programs, an ant gets trapped in the circuit board and the computer goes haywire, spitting out all these numbers. Then it spontaneously shuts down and thats when all these people start tracking him down for this number.

Anyhow, it's really, really odd and has a very spiritual tinge to it. I recommend it to anyone...especially if they are into Kabbalah, no matter the tradition.

Kabbalah, eh? ...Hmmm. Now I am very intrgued and must rent this movie.

A note on life and numbers. If you think about it...life is just 1's and 0's. In assembly language (yep, I am a programmer) a 1 is true and 0 is false. Everything in a computer or in electronics operates on the basis of True and False. Life is a lot like this. From a programmers point of view...we are living in one big If..Then.. statement. More on this if you want...but I feel like I am rambling.

Blessings!

No, continue! I'm fascinated with numbers and how they relate to life and magick and whatnot. As you know I'm working on a seven digit system myself.

WOW, I just saw "the Dunwich Horror" on cable... hadn't seen it in a long time... despite its '60s' weirdness, it was pretty funny --and stange enough to say its a near fav...

I think I like "The Shining" and "The Matrix" about the best... but, geesh. there are soooooooo many films out there... hard to pick.
