Her name is B.K. (short for ButterKup) but I call her Bear. She loves to sit on my lap and she whines a lot. Sometimes, she buries her head in my arm pit. When she does that I'll ask "Where's the Bear?" and she let's out a tiny mew. She's too cute.

Saw your kitties. They are cute too.

Distance? Well, I have friends in RI. If I ever get out that way again, I'll have to look you up. Told Gunner that I would drop by also. Guess I have a bit of travel lined up if I get back out that way.

Saw the pic of you with Nero laying on you. Hard to tell who is cuter.

I was supposed to be in Riverside CA this weekend doing a conference, but I had a nervous breakdown and coudln't go...just too much to handle with my MA and the confernece I am doing here in RI at Brown U. next weekend!

Hey, nice resume (i know, I am nosey!)

I have my mcse, but will have to update it soon for W2k...

I work at a state college as a sys admin! :D

But it isn't a big deal. Seems I'm just behind everything. When I was ready to test for MCSE, they changed the rules and went to 2000. Same happened when I felt I was ready for CNE, they changed the version and it was like starting over (that's when they added NDS). I don't know. I think I'm done with chasing the cert. If you know what I mean. I was locked down in a job that had zero growth potential so I couldn't expand there.

Never the less, I am looking for work right now and am willing to relocate - to a degree.

If ever you find yourself out this way, you have a dinner date. You can bet on that. Riverside is all of about 50 miles of me and I could make that in no time - unless it's a Friday then it would take a few hours.

I hear ya...i hate chasing it...but I kind feel like I have to...

I am unsure if I will like teaching. When I am finished with my MA I am giong to teach as a Visiting lecuter at the College where I work. If i like it, I'll start looking for PhD programs, if I don't, i'll redouble my efforts back into IT.

Its all so up in the air...

Had a phone interview for a pretty cool job today. It went well but they are really wanting A+ cert. and I don't have it. Then the question was raised, if we hired you and put you through minimal training, do you think you could pass the test.

Heck yeah.

I may be invited back soon for a face-to-face interview soon.
