Confused?!

I keep switching my mind of wether to go with some type of pagan religion, or to go with Christianity. What can I do to solve this? How can I make the choice? One minute I will be learning about Wicca or something, then I will feel like a heretic and go back to the Bible. Then I will go back right where I started before. I dont know what to do!! Someon please help.

Well, eventually only one thing really made sense.

It was a long and confusing road, but I think I did alright.


adding: I really didn't feel like being limited by some intangible faith or doctrine anymore, shut it all out. And then my Goddess made herself (and the mysteries of the universe) known to me.

I wavered back and forth, eventually I realized that the 'pagan' ways had been 'my' ways all along.
Just do what's right for you,
I'm just trying to do what's right for me. :)

Well... maybe you shouldn't do anything *at all* right now. It sounds like you're very conflicted and feeling unsure about exactly what you believe in the religious sense, and maybe you have so many different spiritual concepts in front of you that you're overwhelmed by the options.

I mean, there's no reason to push yourself toward making a decision about what to choose yet. It's not good to rush things like that if you have a jumbled up mess in front of you! It might be better to take a few breaths and just talk to God about things for a while. Do some reading and investigate the beliefs of the reilgions and see if you and God can work out the answers together.

When your heart and your mind are more settled and in agreement, making an actual commitment to a certain 'path' would probably make a lot more sense. I bet you'd feel much better about your choice, too.

From reading your other posts on this forums, you seem really rushed to figure out where you're going. These kinds of things just takes time. I've been on this path five years and am still confused about things. All I can say is just read up as much information as you can on both Christianity and Paganism and then slowly make your decision from there.

Well I was one religion for 11 years and then within 1 year I was fully wiccan. I felt drawn to wicca, it was who I am but I didnt know it until that time and it fulfilled me. That is how you know.. its what feels most important to you. Which of your beliefs is the strongest. Im sure you can believe in both but it might be hard to practice both and to explain why you do :lol:

In any case, maybe you could look into Christian Wicca or Gnostic Christianity.
