My gf has a necklace that enables you to place any type of stone that you have in it so you can wear it and if you wish, remove it later and wear another if you so wish. I've been looking around online for one and can't find any. It's a spiral design, springy..thats what holds it into place. Has anyone seen any of these anywhere and know where I could find one?

I've seen these around here and there... mostly in local metaphysical shops. It's my understanding these are made locally for the most part by people who do wire wrapping. Although the concept is still rather new making the availability somewhat limited if you search out people who make jewelry using a wire wrapping method they can probably make some for you. I would even suggest maybe posting your request here on MW in the art forum as I'm sure I have seen several people post there showing items they have made using this technique. Maybe someone would be willing to make something for you.
Most of the ones I have seen have been in a tear drop shape with the top having a small clasp mechanism allowing the top to open so you can place different stones/items inside. The tear drop shape looks nice and allows objects of varying shapes to fit within but I have also seen round ones as well as other shapes.

My gf has said she could make one for me, but I hate being a bother sometimes. I was just wondering if someone knew where I could get one so I didn't have to be one, lol. Thanks for the tips though. We have one local metaphysical shop around here and I do not recall seeing any in her shop.

Some of those necklaces can get really expensive. As a rule never buy one like that for over $10 USD. Anyhow they are sometimes fun.
