These are part of a project i've been working on for a while now.
I'm trying to find different ways to recycle things and in the meantime create awesome artwork!
These are just a few of the records i've done...i've also made them into clocks...what do you think?

Interesting, but since I grew up with vinyl, and see these records (which may well be poor example of the medium, but of course I can't tell that) I find it sad in a way.

That is cool. That is a simliar idea to what my friend does or did to Aol cds that came in the mail... once she painted them she them made wind chimes out of them... I am doing the same thing with old dvds that are to scratched up to use any more..

You misuderstand ... I'm not offended. This is your expression, based on your experience. The thing about art is that it is as much about the viewers experience as it is the artists intent.

:) thanks for the reply...i would never want to offend. i love my art...i love music more than your average person, i promise...these were all old scratched up and non usable records and i brought the beauty of home to them...im from new orleans and the fleur de lis is a statement of sorts to me.
i love my city, i love my music, i love my faith.
