Dunno if anyone will have an answers for me, but figured this would be the place to ask...
I'm interested in learning more about the local folk lore of new england, specifically vermont (where i live). I've looked online with little success. I did find an interesting site on appalacian folk magic & lore, but it was more to the southern appalacians not the green mountains of vt. Now, i mean to go check out baily-howe library at UVM whenever I get teh change, cause i know they have a "vermont collection" but does anyone know of any good sites or books or any other resources I could check out? Also any information on local indian tribes would be cool too, I've searched for abenaki information but didn't find too much (info relating to religion and spirutal beliefs that is).
