can someone please tell me about my natal chart, and why my life is spiraling out of control??

Briefly, with an Aries Sun and Capricorn Moon this gives you a decided advantage in business. The inner drive for success is moderated by the deliberate shrewdness of Capricorn. You have one way to the top – yours – and very little gets in your way for long. But single-minded determination won’t always serve you. You would do well to learn to relax and take time for yourself in recuperation. You don’t move as fast as your fellow Aries, preferring to hold your energy in check, judging the situation thoroughly before making your move. But when you do go ahead, it’s full speed and woe to anyone who gets in your way – they better have fast reflexes! In relationships you see your spouse as secondary to your career or goal, and this may cause your social life to suffer. It may be seen as an event; one that you endure for the sake of appearances. You possess profound common sense and a fine intellect, but you don’t prefer knowledge for it’s own sake. Reality is so much more sensible to you.

Well, as far as what’s going on right now, you like everyone else is feeling the effects of what I’ve been calling the "Scorpio train-wreck." The Sun through Jupiter, with the exception of the Moon, are all in dramatic Scorpio right now. So we’re going to be feeling this pressure greatly in our lives. In your case, your Taurean Venus in your natal First House is getting slammed big time. So that means relationships with others (romantic and otherwise), things you value, pleasure, and feelings of happiness are under stress. On top of that, Venus is also getting some quincunxes (need for adjustment) from Pluto and Saturn (the dynamic "uh-oh" duo). Also your Aries Sun in the 12th house is getting some glancing blows from all those Scorpio planets. What this adds up to is stress, pressure to do something (anything), conflicts, misunderstandings and just general discord.

But you’re not screwed.

You may feel like that person who's smiling because they don't know what's going on. You're just that little bit out of step with everyone else. You laugh late at punch lines and react after the fact to things that get thrown at you. Speaking of which, your environment might do just that. You don't want to have to change your track in order to handle unexpected changes. Too bad, adjustment is the name of the game with quincunxes. While the sky won't fall, you'll tend to be a wee bit stressed. (An understatement usually) Take a break if it becomes necessary. You’re all into making new connections with people, but may be finding you have to let go of some old relationships you’ve outgrown. This is difficult for you, so you may feel overcommitted to both your old friends and your new ones. (This could as easily be a group as much as individuals.) Any people conflicts that have been simmering under the surface are going to boil over now. This could either clear the air or cause people to go their separate ways. You may even feel anti-social. You may have to leave some people behind in order to evolve as an individual.

Other people may pull you in a direction that is a bit off the beaten track for you. If you goof off or otherwise choose to indulge yourself instead of your responsibilities, it’ll catch up with you later. Past indulgences may be giving you a little payback now too. Idealism is a danger as well. What seems a brilliant idea now can change when Neptune’s influence wanes. When you get discouraged or make mistakes, remember that these signal changes need to happen. Face up to them and don’t run from them. Take steps to improve things or just trash what’s no longer working. On the positive side, what’s going well in your life will keep going well into the foreseeable future.

With Mercury currently retrograde, plus it quincunx your natal Sun, this is like a double-dose of the mixed or missed messages so prevalent during Mercury Rx. Expect changed plans, missed meet-ups, inconsistent messages from others or perhaps even unexpected news. Although there’s a lot on your mind now, take a good look at the whole picture before you act. Try to take these minor annoyances and irritations in stride.

During this transit your creative abilities, especially in an artistic sense, could also alter. Even your basic values may undergo transformation at this time. Especially if you are involved in the arts, you could go through some crisis in your work, or drastically change the medium of your expression, becoming a director rather than an actor, for example. This applies even to non-artistic pursuits.

This will be influencing you for some time to come, as when those planets move out of Scorpio, they’re going right into Sagittarius and over your Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune, plus now quincunx Venus and Chiron. Things will improve some in December and should be better in January.

yes, i took a look at your chart (the charts i reference are attached as pdf files), and your question why life seems to be spiraling out of control is kind of hard to discern without knowing what your reality is ... especially since you asked for a sidereal reading in particular. your present transits are not too dramatic in nature ... dealing mostly in the realm of relationships ... intimate, friends, business associates and parents, and that is where i would guess the energy is revealing itself the most. for some people, relationships can through a loop-de-loop in their life, for others, it would be 'whatever'. your natal chart did not reveal to me that relationships would be such a 'big' deal, and hence just looking at the natals and the transits, the impact of the current transits didn't seem that significant.


however, what does make what is happening with you most interesting is revealed when you look at your progressed chart ... the 'scorpio stellium' (jupiter, venus, mercury Rx, sun & mars) is traversing through (sidereally) jupiter is now in scorpio, with the remainder of the planets in libra, with venus set to enter scorpio this week. where that's hitting your progessed chart is rather interesting because on your progressed sidereal chart you are currently experiencing a rather tight aspect between your sun in aries in the 12th house to your uranus Rx and jupiter Rx conjunction in the 7th house in scorpio ...

what it means is that you have been given a "preview" of the energy if you are conscious of what this stellium transit over this point in your progressed chart will be, as jupiter will be hitting that jupiter/uranus conjunction and strongly affecting the inconjunct. (there are several threads and discussion on inconjuncts so i will not go to far into what that means here.) because it involves your sun, and the inconjunct i use is such a strong aspect (less than 2º orb), i view it as the main aspect for becoming conscious. this inconjunct is likely having to do with your strive for independence, and just how exactly do you get that? perhaps it seems like you are giving in way more of yourself to get the 'security' you need be on your own; but because your independence has strings, there's just all kinds of guilt, resentment, bitterness and the truth that you are truly not independent. the other thing about this aspect, is prior to this time, and generally, you experience the relationship of the sun to that jupiter/uranus conjunction as a trine, something that works quite well with each other ... now the energies are complete strangers with no consciousness of one another.

right now with the tropical flow of the stellium over this aspect, you are experiencing in your life the ramifications of some of your decisions ... as the transit comes through sidereally, there will be opportunities to view the circumstances of your life once again and realize (1) the things you were tripping about that you didn't need to, (2) the things that were really important that you didn't see in the moment, and (3) the opportunity to make conscious decisions based on what you truly desire.

if it is independence you want, you need to understand what being independent means for you, as it means something different for everyone. listening to others and their criteria for independence isn't going to necessarily work for you, so listen to yourself, make your own decisions and know why you are making your own decisions. the most important thing about living a 'sidereal' world is realizing that your own way must be taken (especially you with all those retrograde planets!!!) ... its hard to connect with yourself with the 'world' of other people's voices in the way ... which is what you have with jupiter-pluto retrograde natally ... the more you listen to others tell you how it works, the more life will slip away from you.


edit: i took a look at your other posts and bear in mind, that when i use the term relationship, while in general i would mean with others in this dimension, that in no way excludes relationships that you may be working with in other dimensions and realms ... that may be the area relevant to you. with pluto transiting your 8th house, there could be more there, as pluto will conjunct with the galactic center in late december which is conjunct your neptune in the 8th. if this is the focus of your reality ... once pluto moved direct again in september, it started building again the energy as it moves to conjunct the galactic center ... all of that is in yoru 8th house, which pluto rules, and deals with neptune as well, so a lot of dissolution and death may be a part of your present processes. again, without knowing your reality, its so hard to look at a chart with any focus beyond what the chart says at the level it hits me at this particular time.
