How is everyone? As my handle indicates, I am a Scorpio. Virgo Moon and Aries Rising.

What's it like having your sun in your 8th house? My fiance is a scorpio w/ an aries ascendant also. I was just wondering if that makes you super horny or if you get a huge inheritance or something. My fiance is due for a big inheritance since her step dad was really rich and died and gave most of his money to her mom. she's also super horny.

Thanks for responding :) I'm still learning about astrology but I do like having my sun sign in the 8th house because I read scorpio is the natural ruler of the 8th house so it intensifies the scorpion traits. That is just what I read. I've had several charts done and feel like they are 99.9 % accurate. :)

I also have my sun in the 8th house (but a Capricorn) and I think it leads to a certain preoccupation with death, spirituality and that other thing Myst doesn't want us talking about :bigredgri i.e., Scorpio-like issues.

haha, what else do you guys have in your 8th house.
I have Venus only.
My fiance has her Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Uranus all in her eighth house. But her Mercury and Venus is in Sagitarrius instead of Scorpio.

I've read that what you have in your houses have to do more w/ fate and she's definetely had some "8th house experiences" in her life including near death experiences and sexual molestation etc...

My eighth house is Aries (Scorpio Sun, Aquarius Moon, Virgo rising), but it's empty. Most of my planets are somewhere between my 3rd and 4th houses, in fact (Sun in Scorpio, conjuncts Venus in Sagittarius; Mercury-Mars conjunction in Scorpio).

:) Yet, subjects that deal with transformation and the understanding/changing of identity figure fairly prominently in my life. So, who knows.

Neptune is in Scorpio and on the line of the 7th and the 8th house. According to this chart Mercury is in Sagittarius but in the 8th house. I guess its because it is right on the line. The South Node is also in the 8th house.

Mars is in the 9th house and Venus in the 10th house but both are in Capricorn. This particular chart is odd but I guess that is the way it is supposed to be with the degrees and all.

Jupiter is in the 3rd house. Saturn in the 12th house, Pisces.

My moon in the 6th house, Virgo. Also, Uranus and Pluto.

North node in 2nd house.

Which software to you guys feel is the most accurate, when calculating natal charts?

I use http://astro-software.com/cgi-bin/astro2/natal because it takes into account daylight savings time so I dont have to. It also gives you explantations of your chart and you can print out your chartwheel all for free.
