:rotfl: Amazing what happens when I check my mail.. I found out that someone was trying to get into an account of mine on some thing that I don't go to anymore.. They clicked on the "lost password" thing, so when I checked my e-mail this morning there was this stupid messages saying "here's your password & information"... Like I would forget something like that..:p

weird.... I suppose that wouldn't work for e-mail passwords....

 I guess not.... But if anyone gets any one of my passwords, then they pretty much have 'em all...:eyebrow: I use the same thing for everything (and no, it's not 'password'...although that was the one I used at school. )

I use to have a password on my PC that was an obcene insult. If they were trying to figure out my password they deserved it!

I give that one a !

Right now I'm using the name of a cleaner I didn't get to use when I was a janitor....

 Hey, the Saturday paper is here.

hehe, yeh, all mine are the same too ;) Much easier to remember, and plus, I'm used to typing the same thing everytime I see the word 'password' :D

Ooh bad you for using the same password repeatedly, especially a word.

;) I could use my old student ID number...

:eyebrow: I don't think I have any combination of letters & numbers that I could remember easily though.

I write each one down in a safe place (a notebook I hide in a locked box most of the time). My only passwords that aren't random numbers *and* letters combined are for things that don't matter (ie. old email accounts). Yes I am serious :)

 Maybe I should get it tattooed on my arm so I remember..

:( I lose things too easily... :dis:

I am in big trouble. Win XP has this really unsafe feature. When you start to type your user name in a box, it drops a tag under the box with the user name (all you have to type is the first letter) & automatically puts in the password. It's a series of dots, but that is such a useless safeguard since it does fill in the password. Too bad I can't use Yiddish on Solomon. Hmmm....maybe Polish.

my combination of password thingies consists of this: my favourite anime, the initials of one of the characters of my earliest stories, my old student ID number, and one more number. This password is 11 characters long, and to most people, will resemble a random string of letters and numbers. I have been using it for so many things (I created it when my e-mail got hacked into once. . . :bad: jerks. Ah well, no more "Janeway" for me LOL), I have it memorized! I only use two main passwords. That one, and another which is a combination of character names/initials and "random" numbers hehe. If anybody can figure them out, I'll eat a piece of paper.

Maybe it was a mistake??? I know amongst the millions of ID's and passwords I have I might have typed in the wrong thing to get the password sent to, since I have something like 5 email accounts and endless ID's and Passwords it could just be an honest, still weird, but nonetheless, honest mistake...

Hmm ... I only use the same password on things that don't matter, like ring logins, and SNs, so i can always get it back. Its on my member account at hypermart as well ... *frowns*. Maybe i should change that.

A friend had that on his comp too... I don't like those - especially when you're using public computers (which he was at the time)
At least I don't have anything real important stashed away anywheres. :p

Flar, can I use your random number of the day for my password??

I'm like Myst. I don't use the same password ever. Especially on my computer at work. We have to change our passwords every couple of months anyway. It makes it interesting coming back from holidays. I have 10 different programs that I need to use passwords for & they're all different. Not to mention, I need 2 to get into my voice mail, 3 just to sign on the computer!

lol omg I use the same password for everything. Well the exact same word, either just how it is, with numbers added or shortened with numbers after it. lol. Its so easy to guess too my bf guessed it in like 5 mins lol and gave me a nice lecture about not using the same password for everything. Silly me. But atleast I can remember it

This confused me at first. I thought you meant it sent your user name and password to get into your e-mail account to your e-mail account.:D
