Do you feel that any one deity (or multiple deties) are a patron to you?

I feel very closely connected to Thor and Athena and consider them to be patrons to me.
I worship many more, but aside from the Goddess and God (who I of course feel extremly close to :)) Thor and Athena are the closest to me.

Greetings,
I don't have a Patron Deity but I do have a Matron Deity (does that count?). I have always felt a very close connection to Hecate and I devote my rituals and my worship almost entirely to Her.
Love and Blessings

Matrons count too :)
I didn't mean to sound like I was excluding female deities
Blessed be

I think it depends on what you mean by "matron" exactly. I would call mine a "beloved" or perhaps "sister", but not matron.

I feel more of an affinity towards the fallen angel, Nilaihah who assisted me greatly with a banishment spell. I do not feel any closeness to a particular Pantheon or Deity however.

You know, I used to think that I did, but I really don't. I do commune with two specific deities more than any others, but I revere all the deities of the pantheon that I worship.

yes and no ..

I have several most of the Greek pantheon .. but above all Eris and Athena are my main Goddesses and draw most of my prayers.. I often however add Eros, Artemis, Freyja, YHWH (yes.. I can do that), Apollo, and less often others if I am feeling particularly general

to say "patron" deity does not exclude goddesses.

The word "matron" is not a feminine version of the word "patron". That would be "patroness" if one felt a great need to feminize the word.

Unless by "matron" one means:

matron -noun
1. a married woman, esp. one who is mature and staid or dignified and has an established social position.
2. a woman who has charge of the domestic affairs of a hospital, prison, or other institution.
3. a woman serving as a guard, warden, or attendant for women or girls, as in a prison.

And somehow I don't think that these meanings are what many folks intend by "matron goddess"

(I have started a thread regarding this over in the gods & goddesses section, by the way)

I am a follower of the Greek gods, first and foremost, of Apollo.

I am closest to Cernunnos and Frigga - and Belisana is always with me. However, I am working on building relationships with more deities, it just takes time. Belenos holds a special place in my heart, especially during Yule, and I love Freyja. I would like to get to know Thor and the Norns, and Shila-na-Gig as well.

my patrons are Brighid and Athena. i work with many other gods and goddesses, but these two are primarily at the front and continually are with me, without me asking all the time.

Yes I do have a patroness, but I do not work exclusively with her, however, she can serve as a bridge to others within the pantheon, if necessary.

I am feeling drawn towards a particular matron diety, however, I still need to construct the ceremony . . .

I am open to one, but don't have one in particular yet. I'm not actively searching one out, but not keeping the idea out of my head. Kind of like "single but not looking, but if one comes along, cool!" lol.

I feel closest to the celtic god Cernunnos and the goddess Brigid. As well as the goddess Bast and the god Anubis.

Thor is my patron God and Freya is my patron Goddess.

Many people say having two patrons makes no sense but I beg to differ because I view having a patron God (masculine) and a patron Goddess ( Feminine) to make the most sense in terms of balance of spiritual powers.

The God I revere the most above all others of course is Odin.

The Morrigan and Pan although I have called on many gods or goddesses depending... I also feel a pull towards Anwyn.

I have several "matron" and "patron" deities, some of whom I chose and some of whom chose me. These include Oya, Obatala, Isis, Brigid, Mari, Pan, and Kuan Yin. Oya and Obatala are my Orisha, of course. I have an initiatory connection to Isis, Brigid, Mari, and Pan. (I have this idea that when you become an initiate, you sort of "marry" the Gods of your trad's pantheon. They work well with you.) I was originally initiated on Brigid's Day, so she's important to me. Two of my teachers had an affinity for Isis, and I inherited their teachings and ideas about her. Mari is a Goddess I've been fascinated with for 17 years. She sort of called to me, and I have an initiatory connection to her. Kuan Yin also called to me on her own.

Aphrodite is my primary patroness, but Demeter, Dionysos, and Hekate are also my patrons.

Nope. I'm monotheistic, so the whole concept just doesn't work for me.

I don't really consider them "matrons" or "patrons" or "matronesses," but I try to be open to the Deities, and so far three have chosen to begin a relationship with me (which makes me very happy). Brigid was the first to come to me - She gave me strength through a very difficult time in my life, and I am and will always be grateful to Her for that. More recently, Apollo and Aphrodite have manifested themselves in my life, and I honor Them as well.

I consider Isis my patron Goddess and Zeus my patron God. I also feel very close and connected to Ra.

I have a god that could be considered my Patron (and I sometimes refer to him as such), but like others have said, I also work with many of my pantheon. Mainly Manannán mac Lir, and more recently (and hesitantly) the Morrígan.
