I am considering becoming a Wiccan again. I am currently a Catholic but I am very interested in the Wiccan religion. I used to be an Eclectic Wiccan and I am now considering it again. Advice would be appreciated.

There's not much we can say really . . this is a very personal matter. I can only suggest meditation/prayer upon the question.

Why did you leave Wicca, and why are you considering coming back?

I've done the catholic <-> pagan yo-yo deal a few times myself. I found that since I was raised catholic, my parents are catholic and my morals, values and beliefs were built on catholic theology, that they were rooted very deep. I knew they weren't right for me, but It was so much harder to change all these belief systems simply because they've been around for so long.
So my advice is this: Really meditate on what you believe. What you want. What you feel. Don't jump into Wicca too quickly. take it easy
What I found was that the reason why wicca and I didn't get along so well the first two times was that Wicca wasn't actually for me... but another branch in paganism was.
Explore your options and take your time choosing what's right for you. There's a very wide range of pagan religions for you to choose from. Maybe the reason why you and wicca didn't gell the first time was because wicca or the branch of wicca wasn't right for you.
Anyways... research, research, research and take your time before choosing. If you choose too quick and jump in too quick... you might just get a backlash and run back to catholocism burnt (which is fine to go back, as long as it's for the right reasons)
So that's my piece. I hope all goes well. Good luck!

I left Wicca because of my family and pressure from them. I am considering coming back because I love the religion of Wicca. It is an amazing belief system and I was quite happy being a Wiccan. I'm not very happy being a Catholic.

Practice the religion that you believe is true.

It can be so hard to follow your heart when it goes against the beliefs of your family. When I told my mother that I wanted to not be a Catholic anymore, she acted like it was a comment against her personally - she was very hurt and just couldn't understand how I could turn away from it, even though it made me feel empty. It hurt me to see her like that, but I couldn't live that lifestyle for her, I had to do for me.
As an aside, perhaps you could check out the Christian Wiccan subforum in Paths? Perhaps that might shed some light or help ease the way.

This is the best advice I have seen about this subject ever. :D

well, dont rush into anything take your time and then decide weigh up the pros and cons of each. If you have gone back to catholicism then there must be something that it offers you.

Doodlebug.....you just proved with that statement that you don't need advice - you need to act - follow the path that is right for you.
I certainly understand you concerns - my parents/sibling ain't real thrilled about my path - and I am 44 years old :)
You must follow YOUR PATH - and from what you have written, it isn't active Catholocism.
Peace, and enjoy the journey (and adventure)
