An Asatru friend of mine sent me this really great article explaining the basics of Heathenry - a great read for people looking for info, or beginners.

They also reject the Jungian concept of Gods and Goddesses as archetypes in the unconscious mind.

That is a partially misleading statement. While many might refine the concept, there are many who consider the Gods to be within our blood. They don't see them as archetypes in the unconscious mind of humans, but archetypes within humans and within nature itself. (Note that I am saying there are "many" ; there are also many others who have other views.)

But in general, as a general introduction, the article is pretty good. It's too bad so many heathens don't follow the guidelines suggested, for example, of the importance of peace.
