In typical Michigan fashion, we have a combination of rain, snow and wind....though they claim the high today will be near 40....I'm not holding my breath! ;)

Happy Ostara to all of you. It is cold and raining/sleeting/snowing here in NJ too. I was planting seeds with my kids and it seems so weird to do that while the snow is just coming down like crazy!

Here in Southwestern, CT, it is FINALLY raining! We need it so badly--drought and all. Well, Spring is a time of New Beginnings and with that comes endings. Hopefully, this will be the start of the end of the drought! (I'm soooooo optimistic, ain't I?) LOL

It had been snowing all day here in Central Connecticut, but it's just turned to rain! And yes, we really need the precipitation, so I'm not upset with a snowy Ostara!

But we do not yet have water bans here as in Southwestern CT!

My first Ostara - I'm not sure how to celebrate, I'm gonna mebbe do a bit planting and repotting of herbs later today - is that in the spirit of things?

Funnily enough its a nice day today in the North of England (ie. there's some sun ;) ) bit windy, but its great just to see the sun shining for once. I'm gonna kick back, enjoy the day, do what I please and I hope you all get some time to do the same!
