I was told this analogy and I liked it so I'll pass it on. I was asked to plot my life on some paper, with good times being high and bad times being low. The graph looked like a zigzag. The councilor said "Most people think that life should be one flat happy line, but that isn't life - on a ECG a flatline is death and a zigzag shows life".
