I want to cast a spell for a friend who is suffering from depression. Something that will give him strength too get through or at least give him some hope. I'm not sure what to do. Any ideas anyone. Another thing is - do i need to ask his permission to do this?? He is refusing help from everyone at the minute no matter how it is offered so I don't think he would let me.

I would advise against doing a spell working on someone that is against it. In his case, you can only ask. He may surprise you & say yes.

Another suggestion is to put the workings on an amulet. Let him know what you've done & leave it up to him to use it or not.

The best thing to do is light a candle and pray for him, but most importantly be a shoulder to lean on and a friend he can talk to, and make sure he gets to a doctor. No amount of magic will help if he won't go in and see a therapist and/or get meds, as prescribed.

Thanks for the advice. I will pray for him, but he is so stubborn I doubt I can convince him to see someone- I've been trying.
