So I want to make a Yule Log (buche de noel) for our Holiday dinner with the in laws. Long ago I worked in a bakery (or three hehehe) but I was always the countergirl and I am not a very skilled baker. I did however sell many Yule Logs and they are just a wonderful holiday dessert.

I would really like to try and make one. I have seen a few recipes in books and online but they vary a lot. Some of them seem like regular chocolate while others do not use any flour. The fillings vary alot too. Some seem like german chocolate filling with nuts and coconut while others more like chocolate mousse.

Have you ever made one? Do you have a recipe to recommend or any tips so it turns out great?

Thanks!

Rhianna

I made this one a few years ago from Bon Appetit magazine. Have fun!
