asked me to play,

and showed me the heart
You whisper'd to my ear
and gave me a dream
You kiss me with honeysuckle
and sweet breath of thyme
Yet never ask yet a chore

why have you not caught me
when into your ring i accidently stray'd?
who told you my secret
the one i told none
and helped me to solve the problem
why have you asked none in return?
what is it about me from which you do learn?
you know i need see you not

blessed are the trees in which you live

little ones, the faeries, is your blood in my veins?
Mayhap you could teach me my true heritage.
Parents are sacred, so it that which they teach,
But they can know not what for that which I reach.
