I wouldn't necessarily call it sick, but it's definitely not how I view the Netjeru. (I believe that other sentient beings exist, but I really don't know that the Kemetic gods and goddesses would be interested in anything that occurred off of this planet.)
Plus, I find it hard to believe that Anubis would call himself that rather than by his original Kemetic name.

MM,
*finishes some fine tuineing on his research on Anubis(Anpu) and well, ive got to agree with Melysande on this one, and I could be wrong, but i would think, if he wanted to make something known to anyone, he probably wouldnt use a web page. *shrug*

*smiles* Well I'll leave the Egyptian interpts to the experts....*winks at Mel*
It seems to me just someone's way of dealing with the horrific events of 9/11. A personal way of dealing with it and perhaps reaching out to others with some small form of comfort.

I agree with Wanderer In Gray that this just may be someones way of dealing with the events of 9-11. Besides I don't think that Anubis would be using a web site with pop ups to get his messages to us! ;)

Yeah I would think Anubis would at least buy his own domain and pay for hosting. Oh I'm sorry, this is a woman who channels Anubis. Hey if she designed the site herself - not bad. Well hey, not the first time we've heard of channelers, right?
It mentions Anubis doesn't want to answer questions of a personal nature, I don't see that you have to pay to ask questions, and hey if someone finds a little understanding or guidance there, what's so wrong about it? Who's to say you can't channel a deity? And if you believe that no one can channel or communicate with deity.. um... well I'd have to disagree with you. I ask questions of my deities all the time and get answers. Drawing down the moon also comes to mind. I imagine a lot of people channel too.

hmm. i wouldn't call it sick. I would just say, if you do it, you must be pretty gullible.

Reminds me of certain New Age channellers and that lady who claims to speak directly to the Virgin Mary.
I doubt the many of these people are actually mouthpieces for deities.

Maybe not. But are they hurting anybody? I think that ought to be the litmus test, not "how silly is this because I don't believe in it."
Or, we can go ahead and call people gullible and foolish. . . it's not like we've never been called gullible and foolish. We have, and we know exactly how that treatment feels. . . but think about how that feels before you go and treat someone else that way.

It's always hard to find that middle ground, isn't it? I guess we all have our own paths, and as PB said, no one's being harmed. There's not even any money involved.
And we know people can channel right? We know people can communicate with deity? I mean it's not even that unlikely to me. *shrugs*
I guess I can see both sides of it. From what I've read so far though this person has provided some guidance and help for people who need it.
