As it was pointed out by some of us in many of the threads, this is a very interesting site. The discussions here are about much more than some sites have. We don't just limit ourselves to Pagan, Wiccan, or Witchcraft subjects, but talk about almost everything; pets, moving, dress, relationships, politics, cars, gender roles, humor, sexuality, etc ... so forth and so on. It seems as if no subject is avoided, although some get more attention than others.
After all, we are people and we live in the world and all of these things have an effect on our daily lives just as much as our beliefs do; and when you give it some thought they also color how we practice our beliefs and how we deal with each other.
We are also a community that sticks together and rallies to help one who is in need both within and without the community and shows its love and support to anyone who needs it as well.
We have dealt with great sadness and found a way to turn it into a time of healing. This sort of goes with one of the running themes that is often seen. The lemonade is much more than just a refreshment that is offered it is also a symbol of our ability to make a palatable thing out of something that is stinging and sharp. The lemonade is also a symbol of friendship because it's one of those comfort food type drinks that seems to ooze hospitality and friendship (thanks for the observation on that one, gunner ... I hope I got it right.)
I could write more, but the basic thing to say here that when mol started this whole thing I am not sure he was aware of what kind of place he was going to create or the kind of people he was going to bring in. I am sure it will continue to evolve and change as it grows and becomes stronger.
Well, that's a mouthful!
I think I'll wet my whistle now with some of that Lemonade.
