As it was pointed out by some of us in many of the threads, this is a very interesting site. The discussions here are about much more than some sites have. We don't just limit ourselves to Pagan, Wiccan, or Witchcraft subjects, but talk about almost everything; pets, moving, dress, relationships, politics, cars, gender roles, humor, sexuality, etc ... so forth and so on. It seems as if no subject is avoided, although some get more attention than others.

After all, we are people and we live in the world and all of these things have an effect on our daily lives just as much as our beliefs do; and when you give it some thought they also color how we practice our beliefs and how we deal with each other.

We are also a community that sticks together and rallies to help one who is in need both within and without the community and shows its love and support to anyone who needs it as well.

We have dealt with great sadness and found a way to turn it into a time of healing. This sort of goes with one of the running themes that is often seen. The lemonade is much more than just a refreshment that is offered it is also a symbol of our ability to make a palatable thing out of something that is stinging and sharp. The lemonade is also a symbol of friendship because it's one of those comfort food type drinks that seems to ooze hospitality and friendship (thanks for the observation on that one, gunner ... I hope I got it right.)

I could write more, but the basic thing to say here that when mol started this whole thing I am not sure he was aware of what kind of place he was going to create or the kind of people he was going to bring in. I am sure it will continue to evolve and change as it grows and becomes stronger.

Well, that's a mouthful!

I think I'll wet my whistle now with some of that Lemonade.

I would also like to add that, in addition to the lemonade, the Porch and Comfy Chair Thingy have somewhat become symbolic of the warmth and brother/sisterhood we all share.

Sometimes I even get a little moist in the eye when welcoming new member and reading various threads. (that's just he Gemini, I guess)

I wept when we all pulled together for Carmelo and Dextra. A little teary just writing this.

I love you all :heartthro

See! I knew folks would help with the stuff I forgot or left out!!! :) That's what kind of place this is!!!! And I just didn't think of everything! Besides, I kinda wanted folks to come in and talk about their contributions. I didn't want this to be the BlueCat show, now I feel a little Sheepish! Ah well, Life is Good.

close enough bluecat, you have the sense of what i said. by the way, i did finally get over to ashlynn's to see the job you did on that "christian" infiltrator. it's a shame he forced ashlynn to have to make it a members only forum. and from what she said they've tried to sabotage her by sending her addy to all the junk and trash sites they could, perhaps a few more of us should join you in visiting over there to give ashlynn some support?

That would be a good thing. She is a friend IRL, I have known her for quite some time and love her dearly as a friend.

Thank You gunner

I have found very, very few places that are pagan AND as stress free and flame free as this place. Mol has indeed created a special community here.....

I myself am deeply honored to be a small part of this. I feel when I'm here that I'm among friends. I think we are all building on what the great mol started, and from where I sit... It is a good thing. :)

Dragons do not shed tears, but I did belch a little flame, Hee,hee ;)

We would rather have you at least try to shed a tear. When you belch flames, it melts the ice in the lemonade. And we don't want to go lighting one of Kaylara's comfy couch chair thingys on fire, now do we.

If you must belch, please lean over the porch railing.

Blessings, Brother,
