Puma Hime gave me this idea when she told Witchy Cowgirl to
GASP STAY AWAY FROM THE SPAM!!!! in the General Talk > Just Talk > Howdy Everybody! section.

I'm curious to see if everyone has the same opinion of what SPAM is or if everyone has a difference of opinion.

I've always thought SPAM was either;

:) Spicy Meat Product.

:p A very humours song and skit from Monty Pythons Flying Circus.

or

 Those irritating email that you have even subcribed to and get anyway. I got on for Vigara the other day and I'm a girl. :bug:

So what's your opinion?

What is SPAM to you?

I think you have them in the right order. I remember SPAM as a cheap sandwich filling. As Monty Python said, SPAM with everything. Oh my gawd, I have just remembered the TV jingle, "spam, spam, spam, in the blue and yellow can, can, can.
Good job you can't hear me singing it!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

No, I don't get viagra, but I get other lame ones...Like job offers and what not.

Earthlink is pretty good - I don't get too much spam. Thank heavens. These days I just delete anything I can't identify without even really reading it, and am glad they aren't sending it in my snail mail.

I hear they've come out with Turkey Spam now, for the health conscious, but all I can think is "yay, another way to get listeria."

THANKS FOR GETTING THAT STUCK IN MY HEAD! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Ever have Spam with rice? When I lived with a friend many years ago, we had no money and lived on it! I still can't believe I lived! LOL

As for email spam---I get tons! And now, thanks to the new Excite, (and believe me, I've let them know), I either get spam or nothing at all! Not even my MW mail!!! I went to one of my addresses and 105 emails--all Spam! They filter out the good mail and leave you with the bad.

Bad spam, bad! :p

You've got it! But I remembered it this way:

Love to eat them mousies,
mousies what I love to eat.
Bite their little heads off,
nibble on their little feet!

I'm so glad someone else knew that though--sometimes I think that my mind just works in such strange ways that I'm the only one who knows these wierd things. (LdyStarlite, please no comment! LOL)

 :ugh: :bug: Spam.... the mystery meat that used to be the cheap alternative to real meat, but just for the record... has anyone priced one of those cans of Spam lately??? Now, it has almost become a gourmet delicacie:eek: And, thus those who can no longer afford to dine on Spam must now make do with something called Treet... a humble imitation of Spam.... And, please don't remind me of how I come to know of this information... Suffice it to say, Treet makes Spam taste like a gourmet delicacie!!! Ahhhhh and, as a child, I thought Spam was real meat!!!

Flaire-FireStar
