Hello all... I am new and have been researching Wicca and magick for quite a while. I was raised in a Christian family, and I tend to hold on to a lot of the Christian beliefs... I did try Wicca, but I didn't really get the feel for it. So where do I go from here? I want to practice magick, it has been an interest to me every since I was small. I never did spells, or rituals to any god or godess. I found out I had a natural knack for telekinesis, and I can float pencils. So I have my Christian beliefs, but I want to tap into my magickal side. Does anyone have any advice for me? Can I be a Christian witch, and how?

There's a couple of threads floating around discussing Christian Wiccans. If you do a search, you'll find them.

You don't have to be Wiccan in order to practice magic. Not all of us here on this board are wiccans. In fact, I think there are a few here that are Christians.

You really don't have to have any religion to practice magic, technically. Tho I really feel that having religion or at least a solid path will help you practice magic.

As Wildchild said, there's a few threads on the topic of Christian Witchcraft. Keep in mind there are other forms of Paganism too, like Shamanism, Druidry, Witchcraft, etc. You might want to look at them, or just find your own path.

Howdy! I am like you. I believe myself to be Christian Witch. I am very in touch with nature but I hold on to my Christian beliefs. My Christian beliefs however are very liberal so they also embrace alot of Pagan beliefs. I practice some magick, but am new so I wouldn't feel comfortable in giving advise. You can find web-sites to help you through. The Christian Witch page, The Christian Witchery page are just a couple I have saved to my favorites...there are more if you do a search. But whatever path you decide to follow....stay true to yourself. :bigredgri
