Does anyone know one to banish serious illness?

I ask this because I have a friend whose cervical cancer seems to be coming back. :( I have a black candle, & I could kinda just tell it, "Cancer, go away!!" but I figure, if anyone else here might have any ideas as to perhaps more to do than just that, I would be mightily pleased.

My own healing spells usually involve plants. In the case of getting someone well who is suffering from an illness, I usually get an amaryllis bulb. And each day that the bulb grows, I concentrate my energy on the emerging plant/flower as if it is the person I want to get well. Seeing as winter is a great time to get an amaryllis bulb, you're in luck. Just make sure to get one that still needs to grow from the bulb, not one that has already come into bloom.

**ETA** when the person gets better, you give them the flower. (Or else, if they don't get better, you can either plant the flower where they are located, or else keep it and tend it on your altar or in your shrine as a memorial item.)

Thank you! But I was thinking more along the lines of a candle spell. I can't get hold of one of those!

Danuhbe, I am new to spells as a witch. Spells were the last reason of becoming a witch to me "but" I had to dabble in the craft. I too beleive strongly in Candle Magick. I have a short spell, only with this sensitive spell I am not sure of the color of the candle. You can't go wrong with white. I also use incense too during the spell. I start chanting before I light the candle and incense and say repeately: My goal in this flame I see, Bring my wish my dream to me...then as I chant I light my candle and meditate into the flame and light the incense also. Draw a pentagram infront of the lit candle with the smoke of the incence and talk to your candle about what your wish would be. I chant for awhile, and never blow out the candle you may know...extinguish it with your wet fingers or flame extinguisher. You will blow your wish away.
I become very tired after this spell, but i must tell you this simple spell has worked wonders for me.:fpraise:
